severeral years ago, i was at an amp on 43/2nd or 43/3rd. second floor next to a 24hr deli. at around midnight, i'm with a gal,,,i hear some unnatural movement outside the room, then a loud assertive pounding on the room door, followed by "EVERYBODY OUT"!!! i practically shit in my pants because i knew what that had to be.

i put on the clothes so fast i put on my underwear backwards. i stepped out. sitting on the floor calmly was a guy who was obviously undercover and there were three policemen. i was nervous and i said something like "can i leave,,,,please?" the main cop nodded and motioned me out. i stepped out of the front door and there were five more police including one lady cop. i walked sheepishly past them.

ever since then i have always sought a time when i thought LE was less diligent.

From what he told me , they just took down his personal info after asking to see ID. Didn't check anything else

And the place was in a residential building, which obviously must have drawn attention from nosy neighbors

YOu know why, the special business cards and his phone to check his calls on these places. I am sure LE navigates this sight and I wouldn't be surprised if a high traffic monger or third party poses as Huggy Bear. With issues such as slavery, illegal human trafficking, epidemic breakouts and quality of life issues the chance of a raid in a residential area is very likely, but in a low class commercial area there is less of a chance.

One for sure, so many Asian and non-Asian girls are being drawn to NYC for the illegal $$. Craigslist ads for NYC are 96% asian. It's unbelievable.

Usually they're after the girls rather than the mongers. I know a guy who got caught in the middle of an AMP bust in Manhattan. They broke his balls for a while, took his personal info, then let him go. He was never charged with anything, but they still have his info on file; who knows what they do with that?

getting picked up by LE during a raid is shit that I and I'm sure other monger's are afraid of. It hasn't happened to me yet. Has anyone gotten picked up by LE? What happens? do mongers get locked up? or fined? do the guys have to do community service?

I am not sure about New York City law. If you were a customer at a FS AMP when the raid occurred I guess they could legally charge you with solicitation of a prostitute. If that happened then you should definitely get legal counsel. It would be worse if the sting was disclosed on a newspaper with names.

It's against the law so don't get an attitude about it if you are unlucky to get caught with your ass up on the Table Shower.

Just hope there are no cameras and get an experienced lawyer in these type of cases. Most likely these places don't get busted if they are paying off PO, a relative of a Mafioso or the buidling owner/manager is fully aware of the situation. But if a neighbor complains about the suspicious activity or an incident occurs in the building or in front of building then the police have no choice but to enter the building. LuxyAsianGirls were the unlucky KAMP in the building when the police when to check on underage prostitution on the other floors.

question: if you do are at an AMP when it's raided, what is likely to happen to you these days? couple years ago they used to just rattle you a bit but not take you in or charge you or anything...does that still hold true?

I have a very good friend who's a mamasan that runs a place in Philly. I go there usually on Friday or Saturday nights and spend the night. They're very busy until 3-4 a.m. and sleep until 11 or 12 noon.

Best time to go for low man traffic and girls with energy are Sunday afternoons 2-4 p.m. Little-to-no customers and the gals will be hungry for cash.

Christmas shopping season is as good as any time to pop into a midtown KMP/AMP. What about Thanksgiving weekend ? In past I call in advance and they say 'we open honey, call any time' but on the holiday day I do call, they are very lightly staffed or not answering their phones.

Yes, they definitely sleep there. At one of my late night visits I got to go in the room where they sleep and they were all in their nighties with no make up on. None of them were sleeping though and it was 4AM. They looked like your average kgirls you see walking around. I'm not sure if they're not allowed to leave though. One told me she goes out to go to the bank or grab food at local vendor if they're bored of the food supplied to them.

a lot of these amps - esp the midtown ones i understand - the girls sleep there. during her time there she is forbidden from going outside and must sleep in the shop and eat the food they have (and pay both rent and food fee for the privilege) and be available 24/7. to me it sounds a like a pretty shitty lot.
