BG tatoos

Saw this tatoo on a BG in Pty once - guess she may regret that in the future......

That is not so bad as it looks, because it is vary small and it would be easy to have a nice-looking tattoo, of the kind you often see girls have in that area, which could totally cover the little "Brian woz ere" tattoo.

The "**** Not Forget" tattoo is more of a problem, but I find it very interesting, because it seems a BG's commentary on the philosophy of many butterfly men, i.e., "**** 'em and forget 'em." For that reason I think it a very sweet. :biggrinlo

As for getting rid of tattos, don't they have lasers for that in LOS. Laser treatment for tatto removal is very big in the US now. Especially among the Latino ex-gang members. When they get married, have kids, get a respectable job, then they want to leave the gang life behind, and don't want people thinking that they are still gangbangers because of all the gang tattoos they have, so they go get the laser treatment for tatto removal. There are even govt.-sponsored programs to help them pay for it, which seems like a good idea to me. :thumbsup:

Maybe somebody could start a fund for ex-BG tattoo removals!

As well as tattoos I have noticed that a few Thai women bear horizontal raised scars usually on their upper arms. I have also read a few posts where guys have reported that their Thai women have actually done this in front of them . Apparently it is a bizarre way of gaining attention.
My G/F has them and is now very embarrased but she told me that she did them in front of her mother when she had a fight with her mother.
However my daughter told me that horizontal slashes aren't that bad. If you are really serious you will do it vertically along the vein. God knows where she got that info from!!!!!!
Anyone else noticed these sorts of scars on Thai women?

Yes, but only in Bangkok (I think). I looked into this 6 or 7 years ago, and there is at least one place in Bangkok which does tattoo removal via laser. But I could not find any places (back then) in Phuket.

I tried very hard to help an A-Go-Go girl from Patong have her tattoo (of an ex-boy friend's name (a falang)) removed from her shoulder. I felt the tatoo would also be a hint into her past "asorted" life style, and the tattoo would "haunt" her and hurt her ability to find better relationships, as she got older.

She was initially keen on removing the tattoo, until she realized it meant multiple trips to Bangkok, with multiple laser sessions, and some pain with each session. And while I was willing to pay for her bus-fare there and back (Phuket to Bangkok return), pay for her overnight in a Hotel in Bangkok, and pay for the multiple laser sessions (in Bangkok), I wasn't going to fly her back and forth to Bangkok (which she wanted). She used my reluctance to fly her back and forth as an excuse, (plus the time she would miss from "work") and she decided not to remove the tattoo.

I lost touch with her when I moved away from the Land of Smiles.

Turns out her decision was probably the best, as I believe she finally met a falang benifactor, who I believe has helped her leave the bars, and he is willing to overlook her having the name of an ex-boy friend (falang) still "tattoed" on her shoulder.

I don't know about the benefits of a back tattoo for a male, but I think they can be rather nice on a Thai BG. Several years ago in Patong, around 2000, I met up with a rather cute BG named 'Tip'.

She worked at Extasy a-go-go in Soi Sunset, I think. I had her for several weeks then, and returned the following year and met up with her again, and the following year, once again! Each period being for about 2 - 3 weeks.

Anyway, in-between my last visits with her, she had a tattoo of the 'Statue Of Liberty' tattooed on her back. This really fascinated me, as, although I have been to the USA on three occasions, I have never been to New York.

But . . . I can say that I have climbed the 'Statue 'many times!



Needless to say, all 'scrub''and various undergrowth anywhere around the statue was trimmed back to nothing!

Though I've never found it a deciding factor when chosing a partner for the evening/week/trip, I have found some tattoos on BGs rather attractive, as I've equally seen some rather gawdy ones. I'm partial to the tribal and/or flowered designs right at the waistline above the rump. I think those look rather attractive, when done correctly. I was going to buy one for my girl when I was there last. The shop wanted 4000 baht for it, which I thought was a little steep, as it wasn't a large one by any means, and we decided to think on it before getting. The next thing you know, we got sidetracked and forgot about it. Maybe on this next trip though, I'll buy that for her, if I run into her again. It would have looked great on her... :biggrinlo

Yes it was good to get out and see some other bars, i normally find the ones i like and stick to them(not only bars) i am looking forward to xmas time when it looks like a lot of BMs will be around, should get some good tours that time, hopefully including the darkside tour which sounds like some fun.

Unfortunately I have first hand experience in laser tattoo removal.
I do not think it is real clever to encourage a BG to get a tattoo such as the some of the ones posted here. You would have to be e right prxxk to put it on her back where she can’t see it such as one of the first pics shown.
Laser works best on black, does not seem to work on red or orange and some greens and blues do not work so well either.
The pigment of the tattoo absorbs the laser shot and this shatters the pigment and this is then taken away as waste product. The laser light is infrared and this is why the reds and oranges don’t work as they just reflect the light back and do not absorb it. It also depends on the construction of the ink of other colours as to the effectiveness of the laser.
I had 28 treatments, 14 each arm, to get rid of mine and gave up in the end as I just could not afford to finish it off.
I was reasonably happy with the results but there are down sides other than the cost.
You are not supposed to allow the effected area to get sun on it, that is for the whole treatment period which can take more than a year as you have to allow the skin to try and repair in between treatments.
The skin where the tattoo was does not tan where the skin around it does tan which can make the area where the tattoo was stand out for a while when you get a tan.
If you take a girl, or yourself for laser removal ensure that it is the correct laser. A normal laser when used to remove tattoos will leave a raised burn type scar and looks worse than the tattoo.
If you think getting a tattoo hurts it is a pinch on the arm compared to getting laser removal.
I may sound like a hypocrite but I am not a fan of tattoos on girls, just my personal choice. no:

I tend to agree. Take the attached image for example. What purpose is there for having someone's name tatoo'd on a BG?

This young BG now regret's having it done, although it did take her more than just a few years to emotionally get over the chap whose name was tatoo'd on her shoulder. At the time she got the tatoo, she was immature, and brand new to the bar scene. Given the very young newbie BG only knew the falang tourist for a period of weeks, why encourage the BG to have one's name put on her shoulder?

While I don't want to moralize, but in this case I do find it very difficult not to. It strikes me as being rather silly on the part of the BG, and rather evil on the part of the male tourist, if she was encouraged (although I will assume she was not encouraged, but instead chalk it up to a lack of common sense on her part).

Hi Dawsey, maybe the tatoo would have been more noticeable to you if it was in the shape of an upside down heart also.

I saw the picture and forgot that the thread was about tatoos for a while also.
