If you look in the excema thread I think, you will find a link to the ingredients in biotone dual purpose that says it contains germal which is a type of formaldahyde. I dont know about it causing cancer, but it makes my hands break out something terrible and takes forever to go away. It really sucks. I would not want to use it on my clients if they had any sort of dermatitis. Actually though, the clear results oil that biotone sold broke two other girls hands and arms out at a spa I worked at and they didn't even have excema. It just dries up really quick which I guess is good for the client somehow, but with repeaded use, dries out your skin.

Wow, i have never heard of causing cancer, but i do know women massage therapist that get a reation to oils and lotion becaus eyo just use them soo often. I would assume it is to those "extra ingredients". I personally am a fan of gloves for that reason. It has other sanitation benefits as well. But my skin was starting to become sensitive to lotions so now that i use gloves i dont have any problems even when i actually put lotion on my hands.

I also only use vegan products so it good to see i am not alone. I will have to try that shea butter. Also i am looking into the other brands suggested.

Does anyone have any comments about therapro and soothing touch? I was using biotone, but massage warehouse doesnt sell it.
