Yes the law is the same for all Thailand but it is not equally enforced - after all it Patong could do the same as Pattaya there would be at least twice as many visitors here (good or bad dependent upon your thoughts on that).

Since the coup there has been a more relaxed approach in Patong, but I very much doubt this will last.

Yes I understand that Kev but am getting slightly confused. We can mention a nude go go in BKK or a BJ bar with directions and everything else. But if anyone mention a go go in Patong that has a good show or the girls get nude in it is a no no and the thread gets moderated or pulled or its asked not to do this.

A new BJ bar 'might' open in patong and we cannot mention its existence. Do we believe that the authorities are not aware of its existence? is this not Phuket-info? are we getting a little over cautious?

It's all to do with Nicke not wanting this site to be labelled as the source of the information, if, just in case, it does happen.

You have to understand whilst the laws are the same across country, they are interpreted and enforced differently in Patong at least when it comes to the nightlife industry.

We all just have to abide by what Nicke and the mods ask us to do, and not question their actions, as they are doing it for a reason. Questioning their actions, only draws more attention to it.
