I, too, am an American-born-Asian, and I had the pleasure of your hands, not once, but twice. But, as an Asian at heart, and after having interacted with other Asian men, the "superiority" complex is confounding, even amongst likes. It is sad that, at times, I feel I have to "play" along in order to receive the same respect I see non-Asian men (and sometimes women) give to their non-Asian comprades. It does not happen often, but often enough to force me to learn the part. You, on the other hand, had treated me with the utmost kindness and tenderness, which is why I will never forget you. Though I truly regret having had to cancel the last two scheduled meetings, when we do meet again, I will promise to remind you that not all Asians act/are "built" alike.
