Saw something on here recently but could not find it now, so starting a new thread.

Having gone to lunch with another member we noticed the place and since he had to go back to work I decided to TOFFT since I recall nobody willing to do so yet.

First, the place is immaculate, very professional place. Call it antiseptic. Cute girls, I think. I wasn't sure if mine was cute until she was back in the lobby after the massage. You see, they all wear face masks, supposedly to protect the customers from any germs coming out of their mouths. But, she did have beautiful eyes. They also wear tee-shirts with the company logo, and name tags. I spoke with the resident accupunctrist (sp?) and he was a very nice guy.

Stop reading right now if you want to go for a happy ending. It will likely never happen there. But, if you want a good massage (I got a great one) this might be the place to go.

They give you boxers to wear and keep you mostly covered the whole time. Jennifer has replaced Ping Ping for me as the best massage in Vancouver. In fact, I rate her massage skills right up there with a Lulu at USSR in SF. Like Rice-a Roni, she is a legend there. But, no happy ending from Jennifer.

She is about 30, a nurse from Harbin in China (hope that is correct), tall and thin, and was very happy to try her English skills with me. Very pleasant lady, so please don't bother her about any extras. Accept it for what it is, a great massage, and move on. $28 for 45 minutes in a very bright room with electric massage table for raising and lowering. They have been open only one month, but the place is very well equipped. Very professional. You even have to fill out a questionaire on your medical health (for the invoice, I was told) No problem there, because, like eforum.xxx, you can be anybody you wish to be.

Did I mention the boxers? This place is probably more for guys who can appreciate a good massage, not for the true pooners. Jennifer even thanked me and asked me to come back again, a bit unusual.


Location: Right down in the area of south Vancouver that is now populated with 4 places to go for nice massage. East side of Granville, just south of 64.

Call me a shill, if you will, but this is a very nice place and sombody has invested a lot of money in setting it up. They also do nails and facials and waxing, for the firls.

Good review of a legitimate place. "I told you so"...... Personally, I've never been to a place where the girls where a face mask, except for my dentist when she's drilling/ filling my cavaties .

By the way, very good logistics however, the area is known as the Marpole/ Marine area of south Granville.

Don't know about your preferences Malafan but to me, the place is very legitimate and reminds me of many of those mid-upper end spas/ salons targeted towards the 'well-to-do' asian ladies/ moms..... along Granville and in Richmond.

The title of this thread is the name of this "Beauty shop". It is next to Starbucks, on the south of 64th at Granville St. A note on the door says the special low fee $28 per session ends in Feb. 13. Anyone should be able to find it, right now unless you are not a serious massage seeker but just wandering and asking without action for the entire year(s).
So hurry a bit if you want to catch the ride. Good luck with your visits and hopfully meet a Miss World under a working mask.

Everest, are you kidding $70 for one session when the special is over....I hope you're just assuming, cause that is a little high for a place like this....that would be poor business for Renaissance....offer special to drive up their clientele (get people to come in and try and come back as repeat customer), only to watch them walk out the door after the special is gone …..defies the whole purpose of offering the special to the public.

Just my opinion……I guess I have to get off the computer now, and get my butt there fast to try out the special before it’s gone.

Everest, you are the master on these kind of places, and I would seriously question anybody who writes about extras at Body Renaissance. If you do go to TJ as we have discussed, I will give you directions to the two similar type places in downtown.

The actual location is 22 paces south of 64th, on the east side of Granville, in Vancouver BC, Canada, Earth, etc, etc, etc.

It just now occurred to me that I had made a response to Zarawya, "Hi, I am looking for a good hard massage".

In that I suggested a lady at Big Foot, but now I have a dilemma. I am leaving tomorrow and will have not time, so could you return to 64th and while you are recounting your paces to Body Renaissance with shorter steps, cross 64th and head north and pace it off to Big Foot. My guess it is about 94 paces from the corner to Big Foot. (Avoid the dirty book store on the corner.)

since we're talking non-fs massage, try yvonne at canadian aaah at the corner of pacific and davie. i get the inkling that at least a hj might be possible but it has never been offered and I've never asked...but the massage, has been great w/slight sensuality included (mild scrape of the ball sack and an inner thigh massage to make u want to ask for more) ..brown for 90 minutes. the place seems legit but they have neon lights to advertise...for me, like a moth to a flame.

Thanks for clearing up the literacy question although this definition will not help your dimmer readers understand or even notice when you give directions in a post. Be prepared for more questions on answers you have already posted.
