His response earlier was that he caught the Delta variant but didn’t go into the ICU. He didn’t say he was not hospitalized though. Seems like a very convenient omission because, if he was never hospitalized then be definition he was never in the ICU.

Even on the points you bring up though, the devil is in the details. How do you have confidence that the death count numbers we're seeing are statistically relevant or not, when the CDC itself only two weeks ago said they thought it would now be a good idea to begin tracking people who died with Covid as opposed to from Covid? Would your opinion change if the number of people killed by Covid were half or a quarter of what's being reported? Are you confident that the Covid death counts we see coming out of Ontario and Quebec these last couple of weeks are being provided in a context that accurately reflects the situation? Ontario recently reported a daily death count of 64. How many of those deaths were elderly people co-morbidities or other complications? Wouldn't it be nice to know? Anti-vaxxers are constantly told to believe "the science" when clearly those making the rules are cherry-picking facts to support their narrative. Believe me, I'm tired of the nuts and whacked-out conspiracy theories too, but let's not pretend there's no reason to doubt what we're being told.

I have been close to the world of media for my whole career and I can tell you that standards of reporting have fallen so far in the last five or six years that I read everything with a heightened sense of skepticism. Trump was a major body blow to journalism, but Covid has been the coup de grace.

I don't really think those things would affect my opinion as much. Whether the exact number of covid deaths / cases, etc. is higher or lower it's still been a major problem regardless.

Obviously it's not just Canada... governments around the world have had lockdowns, vaccination campaigns, etc.

I sense you believe everything pandemic related has been an over-reaction to inflated and misleading statistics.

So my question for you is: if it's way less of a problem than they've made it out to be, is that because governments, doctors, scientists etc. are too stupid to understand their own data, or they actually know all the numbers aren't real, and if they know it's all fake then why are they lying to us about everything? What is their real purpose here?

Personally I don't think the numbers are exaggerated. There is actually a great case to be made they are undercounted. For example I've read many different analyses of year over year excess deaths that are pretty persuasive.

What I love about the side that argues mass deaths is that they can never prove it. Arguing that Jewish controlled media is hiding it also doesn’t make sense. If people are dying en masse (not one or two here or there) it cannot be covered up period. Information will get out. Facebook and LinkedIn would be flooded with posts of someone losing a loved one and then other people commenting all the time. Sure, these conspiracy theorist will then say those platforms might be covering it up. But that argument falls apart because of the telephone, obituaries, funeral homes and cemeteries. When people dying, phone calls are made, funeral home arrangements are made and there is a service depending on the traditions of their religion. If all these people dying en masse were still of working age then the job postings would skyrocket to fill the holes, companies productivity would suffer due to loss of critical employees, etc. If they were seniors (well, any age), then lawyers, insurance agencies and financial advisors would be overloaded with documents, paperwork and inheritance to transfer the wealth. If they were home owners, with no family remaining in the home, there would be a flood of available homes in the real estate market where supply would outstrip demand and prices would fall. Many jobs require communication outside the organizations as well (customers and suppliers talking, contractors and subcontractors, etc.) so when people are now missing en masse because they are dead, word will spread.

So where is all that activity to support this mass dying theory?

When I was asking why are the powers that be doing all of this if there is really no Covid, one of the answers was it's so the governments of the world can then confiscate all the assets of the people they are killing with their fake vaccines.
