Excuse me? The only promise I ever made to her was that I'd return to see her... I was there in August and heading back in November, I think that's a pretty damn good turn around, true to my promise and she is the sole reason I'm going back. You have no background on our situation so you really have no right to jump to conclusions. There are several factors why I have chosen to do this and to do it this way, mostly saving face for the two of us. I haven't promised her the world, marriage, money or anything along those lines so I fail to see how I'm "leading her on" as you claim.

As for your advice to do it now? Surely you can't be serious. Don't sit there attempting to lecture me about showing respect to these ladies then advising me to break it off with them over the phone, I have far too much respect for this girl and far too much pride to even consider such an option.

I do give her cash when I'm there, I don't sponsor here when I'm out of the country. i never said that I had no intention of paying her, so I'll assume that's a misunderstanding in my post. I just feel it's the right thing to do as I will be returning to LOS next year and if I end this cleanly and respectfully there shouldn't be any problems. I always go to Phuket where she has a lot of friends, so I'd hate to turn up there next year, be spotted by her friends and her told about it and all hell breaks loose.

I want to see her again, as we had a great time and I intend to have another great time in BKK with her. Already she knows there really is no future between us and it's P4P. I have never promised her anything I know I can't deliver on.

Yeah fair enough guys, but the situation is not as simple as what you are all making it.

1) She's not a BG, she FL's a couple of times a year in Phuket when she goes down there to visit her cousin. She works in a BKK salon the rest of the year round. So, no. I haven't asked her to leave her job or wait for me as suggested. She was always returning to BKK. She told me this when I first met her and was only in Tong for a couple of weeks and left the day after I did. She was in Korat for her birthday with family... not at my request of "waiting for me" as suggested above.

2) I'm 30. She's older than me and has a couple of other guys who want to marry her. I know I'm not her only "teerak". I don't see you having sympathy for those poor guys who are probably sending her $$ as she cheats on them.

3) As for the Facebook pages, I've been friends with Tai Pan and Hollywood for about a year so they constantly show up in my news feed. It's hard to ignore almost 100 photos of TG's, you'd have to agree. I didn't join those groups with the sole intention of tracking her every move.

4) I think the situation would be a lot worse if I just turned up in Patong and was seen by her friends if i didn't end things respectfully. I think if I treated her well and ended it with due respect, then time will pass, the situation will have blown over and things will be OK.

Don't think for a moment that I have no remorse about this. I do like her and she's a great girl and I'll be sad how things have gone, but I only have myself to blame. I agree with what you say, ER and see your point entirely. I wasn't looking for an argument, just conversation and advice I guess. But it's not possible now, the tickets are booked.

I personally think you have nothing to feel bad about Fantasma. She has other sponsors, guys offering marriage, is in her thirties (been around the block), she hasn't altered her life in anyway, you've kept her on the payroll while you saw her and you haven't made any false promises.

It was effectively just a fling and you are going to have another one when you go back and you don't want things to get more serious so you are gonna call it a day after that, fair enough. I don't think you are leading her up the garden path, in fact you are doing the right thing before feelings start to get deeper and stronger IMO.

Go over and enjoy your holiday and don't be beating yourself up over it. You'll both enjoy each other's company and it will be sad to cut the ties but that's life and doesn't make you a bad person.
