If they eat it ?? With the provisions that its killed quickly and humanely, that its not a rare animal, etc I really have no problems, I mean I eat meat, how could I. Back in the UK my old man lives a diet with very little purchased meat, but has a second freezer for his venison, trout, and occasional game birds or rabbits hung in the garage.
But I have odd standards, I would never set a snare, but have no problem shooting a rabbit. I see nothing wrong with taking a young buck out of the deer population (this time of year perfect) but not a female in spring (as they would be in foal).
I actually think if more people had a closer connection to the food they eat, and realized meat didnt come in styrofoam and cling film packs out of tesco, we might treat them a bit more humanely.
