One thing for sure is the story raised awareness.

The main topic at coffee breaks was about the CityTV expose. This is coming from both the men and the ladies in the office.

While some may argue that this scares away hobbyists, I think over the long run, it may acturally increase the number of hobbyist. I have guys at work now joking about "happy endings" and getting "full body massage" after work. You know what they say, all jokes have a trace of truth in them.

My prediction is that this series will increase the number of hobbyists. Before this series, SC was their only outlet for relief. They did not want to cross over to SP because of an invisible line about what is considered cheating.
The series shows them there is another alternative, and quite a cheap one too.

We've been those "horrible" people. It was the same story in 95-96 when the mantra was that Lap Dancing = Sex. There was a frenzy of media coverage, new by-laws and enforcement campaigns. LD almost went away, but has made it most of the way back. And guess what? The world didn't end because of it! Customers are more open about their habit then ever. Pragmatic people have realized - hopefully for the last time - that this is nowhere near the top of their list of concerns.

The same would happen with MP's if the people were confronted with the facts of just how common and numerous MP clients are among the "normal " men they know and therefore facing the hopelesness of trying to fight it.

Look, not long ago, people could't even acknowledge masturbation, there was a percieved preassure to maintain pretences.

Like I said, if a person is single and free of having his home situation screwed up, what is there to be afraid of? Your bosses, coleagues, neighbours, guys at the gym? Chances are half of them are closet consumers too!
