Condoms do not provide 100% protection from HIV infection. A condom. properly used (applied properly, stays on, doesn't break etc.), can provide around 80% protection against HIV during heterosexual intercourse (Weller S, Davis, K.. This study was based on big variety of testgropup from all over the world and the test didn't include proper condom use, the risk 80 % stands in combination how good qualité (latex, not plastic or lambskin) condoms you use, how often you get involved with pepole highly likely to have HIV and how good your use of the condom is. If you use a strong condom propertly and it don't break and there isn't any holes in it, then the protection from virus is 100 & because the virus cannot get through a latex condom.

I know most of the experts here in scandinavia doesnt recommend double condom use, but there as some from other countries for an example USA that says if you use plenty of lubrication on the condoms they won't break easlier. But I havent found any studies that confirmes it. But logicaly, if you use two extra strong condoms (for an example Durex) and lubrication I find it hard to see that it would be a big chance of breaking.

To answer the question you have twice asked, I don't think that you can be 100% safe, except by going the abstinence route, or as someone suggested, a quick wank while you watch her in the shower or better yet, a slow wank as you have her and her friend put on a little Lesbo show for you.

But if you use the precautions that you have specified, then you will most likely be 99.99% safe, which means barring an act of God, you will not catch HIV. But strange and unexpected things can happen, and sometimes do. For instance, let's say a BG falls in love with you and wants to have your baby. As other BMs will tell you, this happens, and they can become very vocal about their desire to have your offspring. If, in such an instance, a girl was really devious(and I am not suggesting that any B G would do this), she might find your condoms in the drawer while you are in the shower, and with a very fine needle, poke a hole in each condom. I am not saying that this might ever happen, but just pointing out that, as much as you try to be 100% sure, there are strange and unexpected occurrences in life.

In life, one may think he is in control, but the truth is that you never really are. When things are going your way, it is almost impossble not to give in tho the seductive illusion that you are in control of your own destiny. But that is only an illusion, because the truth is that forces beyond our comprehension, what I simply call fate, is in the driver's seat. Look what happened to G's niece. Could have happened to any one of us!!!

That's three qualifications in one sentence and it only takes one to let the virus through. In the real world, competing with a mixture of inebriation, locally bought condoms, dark rooms, hurried 'preparations' and an occasional 'I want your baby' moment, the only thing that even gets close to being certain is that you will NOT be "going where no man has gone before".

Denial does nothing to reduce risk. Understand it, accept it and be prepared to live, relatively briefly, with the consequences.

No, only two qualifications, no holes and dont break, how strong condom you use is up to you, for myself I wouldnt use a weak one.. I'm not in denial, I was just explaning that if the condom wont't break there is no chance of getting any virus of any kind. So you should always use condom, and condom of good quality and you will be just fine. :thumbsup:

You could make a case for four: 1) Strong condom (not a cheap or fake main brand and not kept in a hot stockroom for twenty years), 2) Used properly, 3) not damaged and 4) doesn't break. Even I read 1 and 2 as a single qual. originally. But then again 1 and 4 are co-dependant, so we'll stick with 3 (3.5 max )
