Great feeling walking into Phuket airport on arrival, how long is the drive to Patong? Takes forever. I use to laugh at the people going home but now i empathise with them knowing it will be me in the blink of an eye. Always tell myself i've had enough and it's time to go, which it is but what i wouldn't give to squeeze another couple of days in. Who has changed their ticket at the last moment? I have countless times and haven't turned up for a few flights.

i know where flube is coming from.for the first few months im back from los when down the pub or at work, i manage to steer nearly every conversation round to thailand! i don't even realise im doing it.
if at work, it usually ends up with me on my pc saying.."did i show you this gogo i went to"?
also i tend to use the pubs in my area that have thai staff...i love talking to the girls about los.
as IJ said in an earlier post..BOOK YOUR NEXT TRIP! 5555555!

Jonny, whats the plans this trip? are you going to have any nights in Bangers?, you may be lucky enough to be there when a mesh run is taking place.

No doubt i will see you there as i am there all through your trip.

I no longer get the blues, did big time on my first couple of trips but now know i just have to get on with life where ever i find myself.

Oh and 5/6 trips a year also helps:thumbsup:

Ahh, just finding out if I can get three weeks leave around christmas. If so, I'm booking my flight. A wee bit expensive this time of year, but it's worth it just to cure my blues.

I'm starting to feel a lot happier. That will be three visits since march.

Hey IJ , Im back on Oct 9 for 5 weeks and planned on going to Patts as well.... Leave Sydney on 8th and o/night (and party) in KL the 1st night.... also planned Pnom Penh visit at end for a coupla days..........guess we will have to have a 'light beer together.Staying at The Yorkshire on Soi SanSabai again... Whats a mesh party BTW?

I was in Phuket in May 06 this year, was my 3rd trip in fact.

I actually booked and paided to go again in December 06, but i miss Phuket SO VERY MUCH!!!

Without much planning or thinking, i just booked to go for 5 nights in October.

Will drop by MTB to say hi.

How about getting a load of blokes together in the same boat and just spend an evening drowning our sorrows over several Singha beers from Tesco. can talk over old stimes and stories anbd look forward to the next trip..... mine is nobember.
