Yeah I have a friend Venezuela and he mention the crime so much in Brazil, How petty and Bad the crimes can be and How young the Guys are.

not long ago: it was a sunny morning in rio,ppl were sunbathing on a beach,sudently a strange noise was heard,a sandstorm hit the beach it lasted 10 minutes and then disappeared, ppl were shocked they soon realised that many of their belongings had been stolen in no time.well it wasn't a sandstorm, it was some 500s kids 10/15 years who dwell in those slums just behind the beautiful skyscrapers that went down to the beach and running as fast as they could stole all that they bumped into

I'm thinking about heading to Brazil to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu the summer of 2008 for four months. I am worried about crime though. You say you can be robbed anywhere? I will have to stay in cheap accommodation too so it seems too risky.

yep she's a very nice boricua.sure been in city of god also been up the hill where the statue of cristo redentor stands,from there you have a widely view of the rio's slums

you don't have to worry about it .what we say is just a general poit of view.it does not mean that as soon as you get there you have problems,one thing I would adivice you ,is,the more you befriend with the locals the better it is,and also do not show off your goods.

hi guys,

this what is better in rio is : it has more blue sky and less rain through the year.

so: in thailand (in the south) it is raining really a lot in rainy season.
and this rainy season is really a long time.

so if u would decide where to live for 1 year:

i would prefer brazil cause of less rain
