Cops mugging mongers at the border

Just a friendly warning. I was accosted by 2 so-called cops at the border Saturday night at about 7:30pm. 2 guys, both little short, darker brown guys. Something about them made me think they aren't real cops- they just didn't have the LE stare or presence. They asked for my ID and questioned if I had drugs on me. I didn't do the smartest thing. I politely told them off in my best Spanish and asked for their supervisor. I couldn't help it, I was indignant at the very idea that "this" was actually happening to me.

They were pretty shocked and let me and my friend go after a brief moment. The whole encounter took about 5 minutes. They approached at the top of the crossing ramp-which I happened to be using for the first time in many moons. I am still pissed! For the record, I stumbled on some steps (a complete accident- I hadn't even had any alcohol today) in the Plaza. I think they have a spotter who calls them up when they see a 'drunk" guy approaching the ramp. Hope this helps.
