I was always reluctant to get vaccinated because I wondered what was in it for me. Well, I took the jab against my better judgment and am regretting it. Still wearing a mask and still facing possible lockdown. Not exactly the incentive I was looking for. Life didn't change for the better.

If it didn't get better this year, it won't next Christmas as well. At least I got my ticket to Florida next month and will be looking for property in Orlando. 5-6 months of "normalcy" out of 12 months is no way to live.

After moving here with family, my biggest regret is staying. As much as I was against these rules, I kept an open mind about them. A year and a half later, there's no justifying what these jerkoffs are about to do. If anyone still wants to blame variants and unvaccinated people, they're just rationalizing and bargaining. 2,000 vaccinated people with COVID today. What's the next excuse? LOL.

I'm following your lead. If people want to go back to normal, they need to make it happen because they will never get it back waiting. Every resource has been exhausted and life hasn't changed much in this cesspool of a city.

I work here too and my immediate family that I moved with to Oakville when I was younger are here as well. I'm just planting the seeds for now. It'll be a long process but at least I'll have options in life. Just get a place at the meantime that will serve as your getaway while the madness goes on here. I have several friends that stayed in Arizona and Texas during this past year's egregious 8-month lockdown. I regret not having done the same thing considering that I have friends and relatives in Orlando and Boston.
