Well, we were closed on Monday night after the fire on Sunday night. Tonight being Tuesday, we were open again, all power, music and everything but the disco was powering along.

Crazy to think that we were busier than most other Soi's tonight after a fire the night before.

The disco will be condemned and re-built within the next 3 months. Amazing how much can get done when the Thais are paid to work enthusiastically.....

All is good and the most important thing is that NOBODY was in the disco when the fire broke out and therefore no injury.....

Yup, nightclub fires can be horrific in the extreme - good job no one was hurt.

Christ! . . . I am due to arrive in Patong next Friday 24th for 3 weeks.

So Far this week, there has been some poor bastard shot in the head and killed, a Bar Complex burned down, and I read today in the Phuket Gazette, that some prominent businessman has been assassinated by two youths on a motorbike just out of Phuket Town!

Sounds like a fairly stimulating holiday to me!

The firies in Patong are quiet good if not illequipped. I wouldn't hold out much hope in a high rise incident though.
