You can make money for a living basically in 4 ways.
1. Get a government job
2. Join a private company
3. Start your own business - in a small scale - with the savings you have or mortgaging your house
4. Start a hifi business - in a grand scale - borrow money from friends, take heavy loans, get investors etc
Which is the right thing to do?
Government job - salary may not be very high, promotion chances are low, your skill or effort doesn't matter much in your promotion or increment, not much glamorous. But job security, practically you will never get fired and you are assured of a salary every month. Low end SBs are like this. You are assured of what you get there. Nothing fancy, no frills, but you will definitely get what you expect. No need to sweet talk, pamper the girls or befriend the waiters. It doesn't hurt to do these, but not necessary. You know that other customers are also getting similar to what you get, you are not jealous or angry at anyone. Everyone is equally good (or bad).
You go to a decent dance bar, say like Rasna or Savli. The situation is different than that from SB. There are different types of girls in the same bar, different levels of services given to different sets of customers, the way the waiters and girls treat you etc may differ from how they treat others. The difference depends on you. if you are
@Anglo you get to dance with good girls and rub their bodies.
@Unclesam gets to dip his hands inside girls' boobs. Some people just sit with girls and talk. Some unfortunate ones sit alone. The difference is not just the amount of money you are willing to spend, it's your attitude. Even if i'm ready to spend similar amount, i may not get the same experience as they get because of my lack of dancing skills. I sit there and get jealous of people getting better service and having more fun. This is the same thing as in a private company job. You can move up (or down) based on your skills, you may get different experience (read salary and perks) than another person with similar experience. You constantly compare with someone getting more than you and get jealous and angry.
There are some people who are not happy with a job - whether government or private. Or may be you couldn't get a job. You decide to start a small business. Scrape all the money you have in bank, piggy bank, even mortgage your house and start a small shop or business. You are taking more risk than the guys who are working on a job. Your money is at risk, you have to deal with different people - vendors, suppliers, officials - you put in more effort. The rewards can be much better. (Can be worse too, if you are unlucky). Kings, Starnight, Nightingale - you have to deal with multiple people - girls, waiters, captain. You try to keep everyone happy. The rewards can be good. A night with bombastic Kajal or booby Sapna. Your dreams can come true. Here also there can be downside - KLPD even after paying money, investing time etc. The difference in the level of rewards is much higher here - from just sitting and ogling at Sapna to taking her to your bed. Players' skill and effort (and money) also differ much. You feel good some days and jealous at someone else having more fun. No different from a business man feeling good when his sales and margin is high and down when he sees his new neighbour doing better than him.
Crazy boys or Heaven6 - things are at different level. You need to invest more here. Money, time, patience... you sweet talk the girls, jokes with or shout at the waiters, get cozy with owners etc. Much more invested upfront before you reap hopefully higher and better rewards. This is same as you starting a grand business where you invest on marketing or advertising your products. It takes time to get the reward. You need money, patience, and balls to play the waiting game. Competition, jealousy etc among the players are higher here as the rewards (and downside) are also higher.
So which is the right thing to do?
Answer is 'it depends'. It depends on your personality, your background, your financial situation, blah blah..
