Navi Mumbai ki Garmi se pareshan- thought of exploring South Mumbai, after some work in town. First stop a nice men's bar off Lamington Road for a quarter of Old Monk and tins of free snacks/chakhna. TV was showing India's dismal cricket show. I was just after 8 PM. Checked with the friend who was drinking with me and decided to find out how "garam" was the dance bar scene.
First two bars off Lamington, one Shyla and other some shit- loud music, well dressed kaamwalis and absolutely no movement.
Next Topaz, only ground floor open. No place to sit - not even two seats together.Mostly trader type crowd, gals way better than the earlier two joints but again just standing. Scooted out.
Crossed Grant Road and first lane right- place called Dilbar. Spacious, with about dozen good looking gals, couple of MILFs. Again no dance but little swaying if the guys in the front was paying. Couple of youngsters (I am 50+) asking the so called lip sync orchestra to play songs like "tum jaise chutiyon ka sahara hain doston". Then there were a couple of stout parsis, easily above 65 yrs throwing 50 and 100 rupee notes at good speed on two MILFs. Best was a this Budhdha, and I am calling him one- must be max five feet tall, dyed hair and wig to boot- had his muse in front. He would call the gal (GLC, by the way) every one minute, hold her one hand and stuff the other with 2-3 bills of hundred. This went on for like twenty odd minutes, with songs like "dam dam diga diga" and such other Mukesh numbers. Meanwhile I started chatting up with a beauty called Chandni. 2000 Rs on her and then shoved a hundred in her cleavage, Gurudev Sam style. She was taken aback! One black coat, who I knew from his earlier stint in Andheri East whispered in my ear, "Sir , yeh sab yahn nahin chalata". Finally I asked Chandni, when can we see her moves, and she said wait at least till 1130 and blow another 2-3k on me! It was almost 10 then and got a call from a friend saying we should get away as there are likely to be raids. Paid the bill -surprisingly a small Old Monk was only Rs 200 each and split our ways.
Bloody Uber was showing 800+ to my house in Powai, so decided to split the fare amd took a Kali Peeli for 100 Rs to Baywatch Dadar. In the outermost hall, some politician types were having a daaru party. The stairs upstairs was blocked with a guy sitting on chair, saying 11 ke baad khulega, tab tak neeche baitho. Neeche hall mein there was Orchestra with one decent looking chick belting out lip synced numbers. No other gal in sight and my darling bong singer "Lovly" (yes that IS her name) nowhere to be seen. It seems she has stopped coming. Got out crestfallen.
Suddenly remembered about Bhavna at Sion.My partner had got a call from home, and split. When I had gone there almost an year ago, one gal Priti or Priya had taken fancy to me and had scribbled her number on a tissue just when I gave her a hundred! Thought of checking her out, and so at 11 PM I was in Bhavna. Ground floor was empty, and I was about to walk out when another ex Andheri Black Coat recognized me and escorted me upstairs. Man, it was heaven! For a moment I felt if I was in LP or Mansi or Guddi in Andheri. Good looking girls, most of them dancing vigorously in front of their "patrons". I too called a PYT and blew 2kon her. Only issue was, the orchestra gal was belting out one Bhojpuri number after another. Looks like the palce was full of Bhaiyyas. That was okay, since I understand most of it but got bored after a while and left at about 1215. Here too an Old Monk 60 ml was only 400, which is same as Navi Mumbai, right.
So till Navi M is garam, we should get cooled at Sion!
