Well, two signifigant elements come into play here:
First, the subjective value of things, and secondly the notion of 'Revisionist Historianship'.

"Overpriced" is subjective, exclusively, when dealing with non-identical items, (such as women) or not-identical situations (for example, due to regulatory situations such as price-in-Amsterdam for B.C. Hydropronically-grown Hashish as compared to the price for exactly the same thing sold here, in its country-of-origin) and requires consideration as such.

Your Union-esque attitude towards the price of SP's time is distressing to me - Unions protect poorer workers from better ones [by ignoring individual merit in favour of duration-of-contribution of Union dues] - are you attempting to do the same thing here? Should a quickie BJ from a streetwalker in your pickup be considered identical to the leisurely BJ I receive in a 5 Star hotel from an incall escort? It's not the same to me.

Where you had originally spoken of being "overcharged" you now address the concept of something's being "overpriced" but the two have no correlation in this case.



Once more, I don't feel my paying what I consider a fair rate for a premium service is inappropriate. I don't feel I have overpaid, nor was I overcharged. Get me?

This began when some brand-new guy stated that ALL MPAs offer DATY for money. Violet spoke up for herself and no-doubt many of her peers and said it wasn't so.


Argumentum ad hominem is unbecoming at the best of times, Frank T, but it's worse still when you don't even get your facts right! (I got two hours for $750, as advertized on her site)


What Violet is doing here is certainly being nasty and she does so in a way I applaud. If the guy is going to bandy about the term 'Love' where he means 'Sex' then he deserves what he got!

I'm with you on that. I don't really give a shit about NR either (hands can always wander whilst on the table). As far as I'm concerned, the longer I'm the centre of attention the better (when paying that kind of cash).

JPA - I suggest reading Karl Polanyi's The Great Transformation. Smith was wrong, and short sighted with the invisible hand, and as such the economic structure of the world is collapsing, and its accelerated by those that over pay.

I was referring to Violet's response that she doesn't have to pay for love. I found it to be condescending whether it was directed at me or not. There is nothing wrong with buying pussy(me) or selling it(Violet). Nobody on this site should confuse love with sex, but unfortunately it does happen.

Hey, it's nice to have one of the decent MPAs commenting at all on massageplanet.net - guess we shouldn't tweak her nose too badly. From what I recall she was more than adequate as an MPA - not as genuine as we like in our favorite MPAs, but then again, that could always have been chemistry. My first girlfriend in high school was like that - too smart and world-weary (at 14) to think anyone could understand her.

Wow there are some really bitter people out there.

The Bunny Ranch in Nevada charges way more. I've been watching that show called Cathouse on the documentary channel and those girls are not very good looking and make a ton of cash. So when you think you've found a SP that is charging too much you can always find one that is more expensive.

Sorry but not all SPs/MPAs cater to cheapos or regular joe schmoes like you and me. No one seems to come on here saying boy why pay 60 k and up for a porche when I can buy a lada for chump change. If you've accepted this premise in other areas of commerce then why not accept it for the sex industry?

Also, why do these women charge so much? Because they can. If they couldn't they would lower their prices.

I've talked to MPAs considering boob jobs who think nothing of the cost because they can make it in about 2 months and stand to make much more after the surgery.

No offense but those who come on here complaining about prices come across as losers in my opinion. Do a search for the cheap release list and stop boring the rest of us with the same old crap. We get it you don't want to pay that much. But why make it a personal vendetta and continuously rehash the same old stuff?

Too many people are wasting their time writing about all the MPAs they don't want to see because of price or looks. Well why not spend a little more time telling us about who you would see that would be much more useful. We don't care about your finances.

In this case I believe your position is incorrect in all regards. I don't believe Smith was wrong at all - I believe the model he described holds true, and that The Invisible Hand ONLY can be viewed in a Free-Market; what we experience in North America can hardly be deemed a Free Market - especially when it comes to 'illegal' or decriminalized commerce.

I don't believe in the notion of 'over paying' if the payer believes the value they have purchased is worth the price. If YOU don't believe what _I_ paid for my Maybach was worthwhile, that's YOUR problem


Ironically, I've just returned to Toronto, and the EARLIEST I could book a two-hour session with Violet for was Wednesday, and I had to book last week!
