Dessert - strange club - for members only

hello boys and girls... its been a while since i lasted popped in here - hope you are all doing fine....

i have never expirienced anything like that at dessert.... usually when i go there its like this:

[ringing the doorball]
her: hello
me: hello
her: one moment sir.
me: ok
[i turn around and look up and down the street - wondering if the old water plant across the street is still in function or its just used as a storage fascility for the prague waterworks]
Me: dobra vecere (smiling nervously to dog walking old lady)
old lady with dog: hmmpfff.....(pause)... Dobre vecere
[door open - gate open]
girl: hello
me: hi
[i walk inside the gate and she closes the gate]
girl: you been here before?
me: yes i ahve been here many times
[we walk inside and and i smile and greet and waves to the girls we walk by - sit down in sofa and order a cola]

I just went to check out Dessert club near Flora (Saturday 11pm). I rang the bells outside for a couple of minutes. Nothing happened. I tried again. I could see one light on inside but no sign of movement (horizontal or vertical). I gave the bells one more go and started to walk away. At this point the house door opened, then the gate. A guy walked out staring at the floor. (don't worry dude, i wouldn't tell anyone even if I recognised you)

The gate closed again, and I went to speak to the (very good looking) girl - but by this time she had closed the gate again. So I asked her in Czech, through the gate - is the club open. She looked at me like I'm an idiot. "you speak english?" (russian accent). I asked in English, is the club open? She said "where you come from". I repeated that I wanted to know if the club was open and if I could come in. It was not exactly warm outside. Although perhaps not as cold as her attitude.

"Where you come from?". And she gave me the most withering look she could muster. By this time I was beginning to think there was something up with this club, maybe a Mafia deal or something. "OK, no problem, I think I made a mistake" and I walked away.

Five minutes later I called on my mobile, saying that their club doesnt seem to be open, and asking what the problem is. Is it a liberal interpretation of "non-stop"? It was the same girl. "but you must tell me where you come from?" "What - you mean like which country?" "No, where you come from". "You mean my address?" "No, where you come from". "My dick?" "No, where you come from" "I'm a philosophical existentialist with nihilistic tendencies". "You are idiot". OK I made that bit up.

Anyway, this situation was getting a bit boring. (a bit like this post).

I started thinking - I never get asked for my National Insurance number when I go to K5. Darling Club seems to manage without my shoe size. What exactly does she want from me. "So is it some sort of private members club?" "Yes, maybe, something like that".I couldn't give her the *special* handshake, so I put the phone down.

Well, what can you say. I've never seen anything like it in Prague. But it's a Russian place so they probably have their own rules. I'll just have to swallow my pride and go to SP round the corner.

But does anyone know how to get into this place - is there a password or something? And is it worth it?
