Do SPs care what you look like?

Professionalism is great in theory, but I'll admit to going the extra mile for a compelling (read: hawt!) client in my own business!

I agree that looks are not a determining factor (thank heavens), but I believe it helps. I've been told over and over that chemistry (whatever that means) is a much bigger factor in getting great service.

Of course, "chemistry" can mean anything from the size of the client's tip to the size of the client's TIP.

YES! Of course they do, they are human!

But as noted many times above: WOMAN do NOT usually care the way men do, other things are MUCH more important, and SPs are generally more so. Hygiene is obvious but, following are more SP examples:

"NO! Daddy Bear you are NOT wearing that when we go out. That suit is better- you look good!"

" Very handsome guy, super well-dressed, sophisticated diplomat (Ottawa) made this arrogant speech while getting undressed. Then I noticed he had some toilet paper stuck in his ass crack. I couldnt stop laughing, so he left in a huff":

"Young guys think they are ENTITLED".:na:

"I was ok with his disability, but after sex, I just could not get him to chat, and I tried so hard. It was the worst 12 hours of my SP career".:frown:"

"Sweet guy, SOOO handsome and I loved fucking him for a while. But then he would open his mouth and his peanut brain fell out."

Finally (for the nonce) women have different opinions about who is HOT, just like the Penis Crowd does- some like baby face- others NOT, some like tight gymnasts- others NOT, or 'roid muscles- or NOT, tats- or NOT, furry-or NOT blah, blah

This needs to be said, I don't care if anyone's feelings are hurt.
"along" should be two words in this instance.

I fully agree with Rebecca, SPs have the right to say "no" to anyone. I know Emm has taken a bit of heat for her choice but I fully support her right to run her business in a way that makes her more comfortable.

Yes....Unless you are sending pictures along with your requests for appts, looks are never the #1 factor when an sp decides to see someone. (NOTE: YES some clients DO send pictures -- PLEASE STOP -- you are not doing anyone any favours by sending pictures of your 9+ incher, BELIEVE ME) You have to be a lot more than your appearance to make a good first impression.

I have turned away a handful of people who end up showing up even with my phone screening: handsome young guy trying to shortchange my rates, but thought cuz he was handsome it was OK; older fairly fit average guy with too much to drink who was rude on arrival; guy who decided he wanted what I already said was not on the menu. Probably other examples, but the main and only reason I have ever sent people away is for disrepecting me. As you can see, looks have no impact.

This is covered elsewhere (it always is) but outside of the odd sp who has a race restriction , the number one consistent restriction that sps do have is a minimum age limit. For some it is 25, others it is 35, others even higher.

Covered elsewhere, but no, unless the sp is exceedingly shallow and brainless, no. Because most of us probably already have a wariness factored in with the cuter guy and may assume he is not identical to the other one, meaning potentially arrogant, egotistic and judgmental. The other guy would more likely get a more nurturing side of her to come out, because she believes he is gong to appreciate her attention more than cute guy will.

Agreed. You can't really control for behavior, at all. Sometimes a man is a good man, no matter how good looking he is perceived by himself or others, that perception which is mostly based on media portrayals of men. (Yep, guys have to deal with that too!)

Thankfully, women can see past looks (dare I say it?) better than men can, and covet other things such as stability with family and a decent place to live, sense of humor (big plus here for me! I love a funny guy!) and a quiet confidence rather than arrogance.

However, cute does factor into it! Especially if they are intending to book me often, I must find that man somewhat attractive! Otherwise, I just could not go through with the call, or at least not allow a second one to occur.

I doubt that my definition of "cute" is the same as the guy's definition of "cute", though! Really, women are not as visual as men are, and we tend to focus on personality traits and the aura surrounding that man (if you get me there).

As for my looks I haven't been turned down yet... but, I am probably the opposite of most hobbyists in that I am about 6' 1" 150lbs. (And I workout about 10hrs a week)

Lol you are only getting turned down if you have poor hygiene are agressive etc. I am quite certain the fact that you think you are good looking at 6'1 and work out has nothing to do with it. The girls aren't as simple minded as men. Men are visual so judge on appearances (just read another thread where dude says -" I wouldn't see her, nothing personal, well actually it is personal,she's black". Everything is a matter of preference but I think when it comes to the ladies whether in the SP world or outside of it, they are much much more open minded and much more sophisticated.
