I’ll explain in a manner your pea brain might understand. Here’s the timeline:
- Aug 11-12, 2017 Unite the Right rally
- Aug 12, 2017 riots and Heather Heyer was killed
- Aug 12, 2017 Trump says this
- View attachment 365046
- Aug 13, 2017 crickets from Trump. Not a word but the media is in an uproar
- Aug 14, 2017 Trump under pressure releases this statement
- Statement by President Trump – The White House
- Notice how he doesn’t even lead with the incident but starts with the economy
- Aug 15, 2017 is his press conference. His press conference was even about Charlottesville. He wanted to talk economy and other things. It was the media that kept pressing him to explain his “both sides comment”. Try watching it moron. It’s a shitshow and he’s trying to avoid it. What you don’t get is the public wanted a sincere calling out of the violence by the neo-Nazis that started it all. He got to the point where it was ‘like fine, they are bad” then in the next sentence he goes back to try to give a false sense of equivalency again.
President Trump answered questions from reporters on the violence that occurred at a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, the previous weekend. When asked why he waited two days to specifically condemn white supremacist groups and Nazis, he responded "....before I make a statement, I like to know...

Here’s a comparison. Imaging a little racist brat in kindergarten starts screaming at all non-whites. Eventually, they all start throwing stuff. Someone throws a roll of toilet paper, someone throws a box of Kleenex, someone throws a nerf ball and then that little racist brat throws a rock hitting a little girl in the head knocking her unconscious and with blood gushing. When confronted by his parents (e.g. media) that are outraged and ask him to explain himself he keeps saying “everyone was throwing stuff”. The parents keep asking him if he understands there is a big difference between a nerf ball and roll of toilet paper to a rock. He’s keeps saying “they all threw stuff”. The parents getting angrier keep pressing so he says “fine, it’s wrong I said it, happy now”, then in the next breath goes back to saying “they all threw stuff and they are bad”. That little brat’s response is not sincere and he doesn’t get it. Just like Trump, his reposnse was not sincere, he just said it to get the media off his back. And….He said it 2-3 days later run that press conference only after being pressed. 2-3 fucking days later (2 days for the statement and 3 days for the Q&A)! His bullshit execuse before his statement release 2 days later was that he likes to take time to get the facts before making a statement. Really? Je immediately made a statement saying there was violence on “many sides, many sides” before getting those facts he values so much.
Get it now?
P.S. It was Charlottesville that made Joe Biden decide to run against Trump. If Trump handled it better, and responsibly, then maybe he wouldn’t have gotten his ass handed to him by “Sleepy Joe” in the 2020 Election and he might still be President.
