Donald Trump, as expected, declares he’s running for President again. He sings from the exact same song sheet he’s been singing from all along. The moderate Republicans, centre-right, make up the key vote to secure any win but they have already shown they have rejected Trump. Only his base is in his corner and they are far too small to secure him the win.

This will be sooooo much fun to watch how epically he will go down in flames. He likely won’t even secure the Republican Party nomination. DeSantis would crush him. Pence will come out to call out all Trump’s BS and incompetencies. Other Republicans will look at the latest election results, see how the MAGA message is being rejected, and are sick of losing so will feel emboldened to fight his rhetoric. His only really avenue to win is if the field is so wide, that his competition all split the votes, and he walks away with the Radical Right vote. If he secures 30% but everyone splits the other 70% and the best anyone can do is 20% then he can win the Primary. Then he’ll be up against Biden again when at that point the economy should be on the upswing, inflation under control and it will once again be a referendum on Trump and he’ll get an even bigger shellacking than in 2020. But ultimately it will be a magnificent shit-show!

He mentioned Hershel Walker and his support for him so let’s just see if Walker gets crushed in the run-off or not. Walker will want DeSantis’ support at rallies but everytime DeSantis speaks, Trump will have to have a rally in Georgia, Florida, or somewhere else just so DeSantis doesn’t steal Trump’s thunder at the expense of Walker. Walker will be a sideshow as a result.
