RANT
Reggie is sick. Apparently suffering from an affliction known as Contagious Appointmentitus Cancellus. This is a rare condition seemingly restricted to Reggie.
It came to my attention the other day that certain traveling ladies visiting Reggie are being fully booked, only to have most of the bookings cancel! Life does indeed happen, and perhaps more so in this hobby where obstacles are more easily erected at the last minute. But unless this is the most unlucky town ever, the high rate of cancellations is highly suspicious.
But wait, there is a silver lining to this cloud! I understand SPs wanting to prebook their trips. Fair enough. But booking weeks in advance is tricky for some guys. This is where opportunity lies: while we should show our support and book as far in advance as possible, short notice bookings, a.k.a. same day bookings are an option. If the traveling SP has published a contact # or has email, we should try for appointments at the last minute and possibly fill 'canceled' bookings!!
REVIEW
After my past weekend I was pretty sure that I did not want to see anyone this week. I was wrong. Come yesterday I had 'the urge'. What to do? I noticed that the Doctor was in town: Vanessa Kelly A few quick emails, a telephone call and I was set for that night. Easy as pie. Seems she was waiting for a confirmation on an evening appointment and when that confirmation did not come, I got to come.
I had me a 'prime time' appointment with one very well known and respected Dr. Vanessa Kelly. But as in most things, it was not an entirely smooth ride. I arrived at the hotel at the appointed hour and called up for the room number...3 times. Each time I got the answering machine, so I patiently left my name and number. Knowing from previous reviews others have posted and having read her web site, this was unusual behaviour. Rather than panic, get huffy and leave, I waited calmly, prepared to wait about 1 hour. I did not have to wait long, about 15 minutes. Seems she has problems with her phone switching off frequently. She called me and was most apologetic and, I think, more than made up for it with her performance.
I should specify that mine was a custom appointment: I emailed her my request for clothing and activities. When I arrived she was appropriately attired, (which I find stimulating) and we quickly discussed the options for our time together. That done, the evening's events unfolded.
There was, of course, her famous BBBJ, DATY (Sweeet), Rodeo,Cowgirl, Doggy, etc. She is well reviewed and her web site is quite clear so I will not further elaborate, other than to say the usual YMMV is always in play.
Suffice to say that I was 'blown away' by her talents. About mid-way through our session I had a minor personal problem. We had to take a break for about 10 minutes. When I returned I was afraid that it was over, as I seemed to have lost the 'mood'. Then I found out that this Dr. can breath life into otherwise apparently dead patients! I had been fully content with the session to that point and had it ended there, that was ok. But she got me back into the game and we carried on like nothing had happened. It was one of the best sessions I have ever had! Thank You Vanessa.
One other little hiccup. I wear glasses and they tend to get hard to see out of during the action. On the way to the shower in the candle lit bathroom Vanessa handed me a small package and told me to take a couple of pieces, as she walked in front of me. No, take larger ones she said. I thought they were mints, white chocolate or some such thing. As I was about to put one in my mouth, she advised it's soap. Pheuttt. She did give me a candy later.
WRAP UP
Contact details, prices etc are available in her ads. She is indeed a lot of fun, both professionally and as a person. After the session we had a nice chat. She seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say and had some interesting points of her own. But this is not a debating club!
I have repeated and I will do so in the future. I would indeed recommend if you are in doubt.
Thank You again Vanessa.
