I have specifically asked for a Canadian made suit a couple of years ago, when I went to a men's clothing store. The salesman told me they are hard to come by nowadays because most of the Canadian manufacturers have gone out of business because of the Chinese.

I said, I don't care about the Chinese, I care about Canada. So, I proudly bought my suit with the made in Canada label, and paid extra for it. Because I care.

Shame on the rest of you.

Voting for someone based on name recognition, is plain stupidity. It happens in politics all the time. It happened in municipal politics too. One guy was the former head of a well known union in a city in Ontario. His son of who had the same name, decided to run for city council, and never put "jr" after his name. Naturally the stupidity of the people kicked in, and he was elected solely because the people thought it was the former head of the union running for election. That's plain trickery, and dishonesty.
