Been lurking for some time but kray gives decent reviews and honest opinions. I'm sure many hobbyists here actually value those opinions vs all the other non-sense..

He's a salesman, that's his job here. I'm sure he has all the best intensions. I agree with some of the shills but there are plenty of dud's too. Try for yourself and vote with your wallet.

What a coincidence. I was about to bump this thread back to front after seeing the spa was pretty dead there today. I was having some discussions at Blue Sky for about 2 hrs for thier new Blue Sea spa opening on Pine Valley this coming Monday and all I saw was only one customer went into E&M in that 2 hrs period. January is always tough but this past year was the toughest for some spas.

The funny thing was Blue Sky girls were always watching on monitors to know E&M is busy or not. They said when E&M is busy. They are busy too. Mia told me Cici and Eva wants the Thai guy to come back to E& M..lol.
They were so happy when they first open the Blue Sky. They said they got over 20 customers everyday as soon as they open without advertising any where cuz at that time E&M was getting 35-40 customers a day and they were having a good time with spill overs from E&M. Now E&M is averaging only 20-25 a day so Blue Sky is getting only 10 -12 a day. The only difference is E&M needs at least 15 customers a day to break even and all Blue Sky needs was 5 customers.

Is one more debt leveraged than other... I guess it might have to with rates/tips they are charging for service.

It's a simple math. E&M gets only 26 bucks from every one hr room fee. E&M has receptionist at $ 12 /hr. averaging $120 a day plus 6-7 loads of laundrues a day plus the sauna. Go figure out with the hydro rates and it all adds up. E&M rent is $3300.a month compared to $2800 for Blue Sky. Blue Sky gets $30 room fee for every half hr. No receptionist, no sauna not much laundry. And I am not even talking about how much E&M still owes to Bank.

Agree, e&M is busy and highly rated but apparently they are not making enough compared to their next door neighbors even though they work (double) hard.

If E&M is having trouble then the whole industry is in trouble.....we don't see spas closing we see more opening.

had a sesson with cici recently, does she not tease at all or something? i had to tell her after like 30minutes of massaging that i enjoyed teasing and would like some smh and even then, it was lackluster and not sensual at all

Holistic spa is a much better choice if you want to make quick bucks with very little investment. I will give you a very good example. It costs over $160,000 to bulid E&M from ground up and it costs Blue Sky less than $30,000. Blue Sky owners Cici and Eva both working, they were making average over $1,000 everyday in their first 3-4 months, doing so well and was about to expand by renovating the basement to install two table shower rooms and all. They changed that plan after I left E&M and their spa got slowed down as well. Nevertheless they made their money back in less than 4 months. Candy spa bought their spa for just $24, 000 and it was all paid off in 3 months.
E&M on the other hand was struggling to make ends meet on their first few months after they opened in late september 2015 and running at a loss every month with getting only 13-14 customers a day to a point Esther and Michelle has to bring in Eva as additional partner to help secure the spa. It took me about 3-4 months and a few changes of ladies to put E&M on solid ground after I started helping them out. E&M still owes quite a big chunk of money to the bank. It is not as easy as you all think.
We all can see clearly who is doing better by the kind of cars the holistic spa owners are driving compared to semi legit spa owners. Most girls working at holistic spas make $500 to 800 a day and girls working at semi legit spas make avg only $250 to 350 after very hard work.

Everybody wants to earn more by doing nothing or less...why wouldnt one think about opening/switching to holistic. Let's say you don't want to do it for x reasons. But the thought will most definitely cross ones mind.

I don't think it will happen any time soon. Michelle was quite easy to work with while she was struggling. Now she is on solid ground and she thinks she knows everything and won't take any suggestions from any one. There are lots of things needed to be done, maintained and changed to improve spa image but it is hard to deal with someone who has very limited vision and targeting only on her old regulars Asian blue collar workers. E&M needs to tidy up the place and it is in need of some new fresh girls. Some of the girls at E&M were over worked and getting burnt out working 5 days a week with little breaks in between. Cici and Angel a good example. She herself was over worked and stressed out and moody most time. She turned down the two best ladies I offered to her a few months back. Both ended up at Just relax and booked solid most times

It is a lot easier to deal with someone like Renee who admitted she knows nothing and handed me over the whole spa to manage, or smart and well educated Just Relax owner who is always asking for suggestions to improve her spa image and business. JR girls are responsible to clean the shower room of their own customers after every use to keep the place clean and spotless. She gave Christmas gifts to every of her girls and $50 cash to those who works on New Year's day including me. No wonder JR is the best managed and busiest semi legit spa in town now with lots of pkg holders and regulars with over 30 customers a day even in tough times. They even had 2 record breaking days with over 40 plus customers a few days ago while others were struggling. Even SL is benefitting from JR's spill overs.

Shangri-La is on the ropes with the "marketing genius's" guidance.(crazy $500 packages,one month door price special discount for MP members who mention the special )...on and on(not to mention the odd free hj )....now not surprisingly Krayjee in search of a win is trying to attach his name to JR(numbers questionable of course)...in the meantime--"Now she (Michelle) is on solid ground and she thinks she knows everything and won't take any suggestions from me."........Guess what KJ,Michelle let you go for a reason
