The choice is up to the individual.

If the person is lower income of course they are going to go less.

If they are married they will go according to how much they can hide from their SO and their needs.

If they are in a high income bracket with the disposable income then they can go as much as they like, given SO restrictions above.

The problem happens when your hobby needs exceed your disposable income.

I recently posted in the Hamilton forum how I was "In exile from Madisen."
In the 21 days since I last saw her, I had spent over $1300. Allure and SRM got most of this.
It has now been about 35 days since I saw her and I'm over $1600 in that time.
To each their own I suppose.

I only go once a month, so I would say about 1600 per year.

If I fall into money, then I would go more.

Last month I won 1800 on Pro line and went 3 times in a week, none of them worth a review.

I think the problem may begin when you start thinking of MPs as a need.

The solution... if you can't stay away, and must play... is to REALLY play. Instead of going once a week ($150) for a 30 minute session with one MPA, try 2 MPAs in a 45 minute session once a month. Slowing making your way to depending on these MPs less and less

Or go cold turkey. I havent been in over a month. Now I can restart the hobby with a clean slate and a better frame of mind.. The month before I stopped I blew about $500/week. Not a shining moment thats for sure. I figure once every 2 weeks should be good enough for now.

I've quit cold turkey (hopefully), haven't been back for 6 or 7 weeks, that means $600 or $700 extra in my pocket !!! Having a SO back in the picture also helps !!

There are MANY big spenders out there. I know one who has 2-3 overnight calls a month ( @$1500-2500/night) plus 2-3 calls of 4-5 hrs a month (@ $700-1000) and travels to the caribbean atleast 4 times a year with a paid companion ( $10-12000 )... do that math....
