That's Theory, paper, principals only. Reallity is very different don't believe it ????Yes, there will be things that fall thru the cracks, but as I said Canadian cops are not like North Korean cops...and after they arrest you ,they can o ly keep you in jail o an indictment ( serious crimes) summary charges, they have to let you go and appear in court in the morning. Here is the thing after the cops charge you at the station..all the evidence within a day or two has to go to the crown attorney..they are the ones who will determine whether there us enough evidence to go to trial...if a cop just lied and said that you this or that..but with no evidence the crown will drop the case. It's called " having no reasonable prospect of obtaining a conviction in this matter"..

Don't get me wrong, Canada is head and shoulders over many other countries.; but when dealing with authoritarian coppers GUARD YOUR-SELF
