An NDP majority would be shocking. That Ford will have to bring in NDP like polices before next year’s elections should be shocking to no one. Ford Nation is battered, but Ford’s asshole has not been buttered enough yet to allow the NDP to win in the 905.

If Bob Rae was able to beat David Peterson, then nothing is too shocking anymore, because that was about as shocking as you can get. The only mistake David Peterson ever made was calling for an election too early. People looked at it as an arrogant action solely to extend the length of time of his majority government. One little mistake cost him his political career. It's too bad because he was doing a great job. There was no reason to call for an election before his term was up.
