He is a Norweigan man. Fairly new owner of the bar, maybe 4 or 5 months. I only started drinking there in July
 
So basically Don bought it off Luigi, tarted it up a bit and sold it on to this Norweigan bloke.........interesting
 
Think they bought it together from Luigi,and then the nway man (Kjartan)bought Don out
 
Kjartan, Don and another partner whose name I forget bought the Offshore with the intention of operating it as Dons BBQ 2. Not sure what happened as I moved out of Patong but Don is no longer involved in the Offshore but he now has a bar next to his original BBQ place. I think it was just too much hastle operating 2 BBQ places flitting between the 2 so he pulled out of the Offshore.
 
i heard their was a bit of friction between Dons 'boss' and the partner/s.
