Friday morning the staff opened the store in the Alley ( Yes, 1/2 nut there are girls in the Alley ) to test the viablily of a 24 hour presence and hire new help should the need be there . Three ( 3 ) individuals were present from that time to Sunday , June 14th at 6:00PM. We were open 24 hours , never closed and 1/2 block away from all this so called hysteria.. Does Swine Flu ring a bell ?

S-rico claims via prior post he was not in the area as such no 1st hand knowledge and referes to a site that reflects common occurances within this 5 block area. Those photos could have been taken weeks ago as it has been that way for 2 months.

Then there is 1/2 nuts view . Coming from an individual that has to ask if there are street girls in the Alley what is the point in the input. No one was there to experience the happenings of this so called hysteria that did not take place.

Nice try, but the guys they are harassing and hauling away, look a lot like Americans to me. Don't know of many Black Mexicans. I think there is much to be concerned about if they are targeting crossers.

The raid was conducted by multiple agencies not just the feds. There is a you tube video out there showing officers fondling a chicas breasts.

Last Friday there was a big raid in the zona by the Mexican FEDs! I believe this is the biggest one to date, as there has been others where the TJ police go inside the bars and detain everybody, check IDs and do a weapons search, and I guess check for drugs, and if you have something like a weapon or drugs they arrest you.

I don't even know the exact reason for the raid? I think one article said it was a immigration check, but who knows?

It also looks like some of those cops were up to their old tricks because a lot of bar girls reported being robbed by these rogue cops up in their hotel rooms, and a few locals, and perhaps a few mongers reported being robbed too.

I wouldn't worry too much about these raids, but they do happen from time to time. And I have a feeling they won't happened for months now, because this last raid pissed a lot of people off, especially with allegations about the cops robbing people in the zona.

Just be sure you don't have weapons, drugs, or too much money in you wallet, and chances are if a raid ever does take place, you will only be searched and asked for an ID.
