Yes it's pretty much the same in Spain, in my experience, which goes back about 35 years...

As does my experience of Italy.

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news my friend, but you have missed out on a lot of fun in Spain, with Spanish ladies, since the 80's.

I would say perceneforum.xxxe wise of what I read, hear and see, there's a "proven" huge difference than back in your home country.

Exceptions are definitely always possible, why not ... but I wouldn't assume or advice it's not much different than back home.

Firstly their is a big cultural difference and secondly a very large grey area you have to pin point through first in a P4P surrounding ... there might be a few more points, but I think the first 2 are already enough to not look for trouble planning an adventure looking for a "good girl" for a 14 days short holiday.

Indeed when I met my Thai wife, I was living in Phuket as an expat. There was no effort on my part to meet a "non-working/regular" girl for a 2 week fling . ... Why would one want to do that (short fling where emotions can be hurt) , when there are many working girls with less strings ?

As for the cultural differences, they do not tend to get in the way in the first 'meeting' (ie in terms of the places I noted) , but they do change the style and tone of any subsequent relationship.

Its unlikely IMHO , given the cultural differences, that one will find a 'good' girl to go off with him on a holiday, without having spent substantial time dating first.

Just sounds like the OP either wants free nookie or is concerned a the stigma of "paying for it" If you want a Girl Friend experience and a bit of a holiday partner thats easy to find in phuket. Just find a bar girl you like and ask her. Mostly you will get a discount on standard daily rental. Its a bit like taking a car or a hotel room for an extended period.... you get discount. Remember the wise words of my father . If it flies ****s or floats its cheaper to rent.
