It is very simple: he is saying some offer it based on rumors. As you and I both know, people lie (based on whatever agenda).
For ones where he is certain, totally agree. To then go and say it is plausible from so many he he has seen based on rumours just seems like a guy who has lost control. Maybe whatever disease he picked up has already hit his brain.
At this point, I guess we wait for the inevitable STD outbreak.
Are you familiar with statistics? If not here's a quick lesson.
A
population consists of the entirety of a group. In our case, the population are made up of MPA's. All of them.
It is too time constraining and expensive to sample the entire population (known as a census). Where I would literally have to see every MPA there is. Therefore we take samples.
My sample size is 33. There are 34 MPA's listed but I've commented on 33. Sample's are used to calculate statistics. The following statistics correspond to my sample.
4/33 (12%) - Confirmed (confirmed for myself )
8/33 (24%) - Highly unlikely (cant say for sure they don't but this is as close as it gets)
13/33 (40%) - Unsure (insufficient information - no bases for an opinion)
6/33 (18%) - Plausible (clear hints and comments were made to ME that its possibly an option but members i trust cannot confirm)
1/33 (3%) - Highly Likely (clear hints and comments were made to ME plus trusted members have confirmed)
1/33 (3%) - Unlikely
Now these statistics are used to estimate
parameters (key word there is estimate) about the entire population. So you can say roughly 24% of the population (MPA's) are highly unlikely to provide BBFS. Now it's dumb to assume that is true because of
sampling variability also known as sampling error. Different samples from the population will provide different statistics. For example, what if my sample size was 4 and it just happened to be the 4 MPA's that BBFS was confirmed? Would it be then be smart to say 100% of MPA's provide BBFS? Hell NO. However sampling variability is actually a good thing - if samples provide similar statistics that means the population is similar. Meaning if 5 other samples were drawn of similar size and yielded similar statistics - you can be much more confident in making estimations of the population. If the samples provide different stats, than population is varied and it would be ill advised to go off the samples. So if there are volunteers who'd like to go forth and make the effort to do research (very fun research) and provide data y'all can have better overall estimations.
I get nothing out of "scorching" any of these MPA's. They have been lovely to me. And I made it clear in previous comments that I try my best to walk the fine line of leaving insightful reviews. But here's the thing, a lot of guys out there are clueless, if you could see my inbox you'd be shocked. And frankly they ain't got the money to blow so I try my best to help them out without giving every little detail. It's those guys I'm trying to help. The ones out there doing DATY with their favourite MPA when she just did BBFS with the guy before them. Don't get me wrong I'm super appreciative of these MPA's and feel for them man I really do but at the end of the day it's bros before hoes.
