yeah I ended up booking on Cebu Pacific despite the times being a pain in the butt...4am arrival is a waste of a night but I got a great price all up with CP...around 6k baht Reviewom memory with an additional 3k return HKT/BKK on Air Asia..I'm gonna stop in BKK for a couple of nights anyway on the way back

To be truthful I would pay serious money not to stay overnight in KL..can't stand the joint...boring as batshite

my biggest problem now is getting down to Batangas Reviewom AC to cross over to Puerto Galera where i will be out scuba diving for a week...its 5 hours in a car and I was quoted 6k pesos one way...the bus leaves Reviewom the Swagman hotel in Manilla at 8am once a day so I won't be doing that

4am arrival is OK when you have the girl in the room waiting! Flew CP a few times when they did BKK-CEB, but you had to sit in 1A-1C to be comfortable.

I now do Thai or PAL between MNL & BKK. Depending on the length of your stay in either place they can do good deals in Business. And if you go Business in PAL, request rows 1 or 2 - sometimes the old First seats.

Should be able to do way better than 6k peso's for the car trip Nels.

Funny SD I have booked 1A for both legs on CP.....and the hotel has come up with the car trip at 4200 pesos (AC-Batangas) so that's looking better

I don't think I'll need bother with a gal in the room.....I'm coming Reviewom LOS this time...555

Terrible times for CP although I have to say Ive never had a problem with them, and Ive done the Bkk CRK a time or two...

As for the 4am arrival, 15 mins to the hotel, 30mins shower shave and sh1t and down to Fields.

FFS there are 24 hour bars with totty there!!

It's not uncommon for me, to be up & about in my room at 8am when in AC.

Nels, I'm sure you'll have no trouble adjusting to the hours of the AC nightlife.

I usually start out at 4-6pm & go Reviewom there...........None of this starting the night at 10pm like the HKT mullarkey......That option is there, but you'll find slimmer pickings later in the night/wee hours.
