There's two things I really don't like about Patong. First, is tuk tuk/MB taxi monopoly, and lack of alternatives. Second, is the number of BGs who are only interested in getting you to buy them as many drinks as possible, before they let you know they will not go with you! That's happened to me way more times than I could count in Patong bars.

I've only had that happen to me 3 times in Pattaya, and twice was on NYrs eve, when every girl in town was already hooked up except for the ones trying to get drinks from you, as had they really been available, they would have already been hooked up, too. Even then, they only tried for one drink. In Pattaya, they usually will not ask for a drink right away, as they are more interested in getting a "date" than a drink, and if they do ask for a drink, then they will go with you if a price can be agreed on.

Weekend warriors in a way that don't get bogged down in the "business" too much, and are free to come and go as they please, rather than being tied to a bar or gogo with quota pressure.

lots of the gals I've met in BKK night spots are in this category....working 8-6 then hitting nightclubs for a night out with their galpals and a lok to see if they can score...many would earn more on Friday night than they would all week in their day jobs

another sub category in Patong is the gals (usually 2 or 3 togethere) on a holiday from elsewhere in LOS...ready to party but still a little unsure of themselves as far as P4P goes....of course they should be offered money but the occasional one doesn't see herself that way.....hmmmm...my favourite category

With a free lance u get the benefits attached with being a freelance.Means she could have alot more disposible time for you.(if she doesnt have another job of course).Go to any joint with her daytime or nitetime.Or stay in bed...

What people forget is that we barowners need to spend alot of time and money to keep and get girls to stay in the bar.And our income isnt the barfine.Our bread is from the alcohol we sell,and hopefully our staff/girls help us with that.In Pattaya it seems different from Patong as there are thousands and thousands more girls,and easier to get work to for you.

When i am on holliday or visa run i prefer the BGs instead of FLs.Easier to know them in a bar than on the street or disco.If you get to know the staff/owner etc mostly the girls shows u greater affection and happier to please you than the FLs.I dont mind to pay alot of drinks for the girls escpecially if the service is good.

Some prefer the cheapest way,brothel,street,disco,others prefer to invest more time and money(maybe) to hang out with bargirls.(and all that get attached with that, tv,darts,pool,service,selection of girls,better security,regular guests/friends etc)

Was in Hua Hin at Halloween party in Hilton hotel this year and place was full of "Bangkok Babes" in groups of 2.3 or 4 just down for the weekend. Just normal 9-5 birds in the week or richer kids from the city. A few of them were looking for farang meat.

I had some experience with few FLs in BKK, one (as some of you probably know from my previous posts) was non-Thai, lets call her TT. She was operating on her own but definitely wasn't crazy. The last time I was with her she was giving/revealing some of the lesser known facts that do happen behind the scenes; things that we, as mere punters, are largely unaware of.
As we were sitting at a coffee shop just outside Nana Sky station, TT pointed out a Thai stunner who was clowning nearby and her comment was that the stunner had trouble getting any customers simply because she was crazy. They all know each other in one way or other by the way, either by sight or sometime by being acquainted. I was also given an insight into the mentality of different nationalities/character and their behavior and demands as customers - very interesting. For example, the Middle East desert dwellers for whom money is no object, staying in 5 star establishments but then going to the night markets and driving a hard bargain in order to save few Baht; I guess it's their nature to haggle?
Another story involved LB who had a boob job done. As the LB was showing it to the group, TT commented that the boob job still did not make "her" a girl. The LB lost his/her temper and wanted to fight TT. Few days later TT and another friend were cornered in lady's toilets in some hotel by the same LB, who was still hopping mad about the insult regarding the boob job. TT's friend ran off and LB grabbed TT and became very threatening and asked TT if she was scared, to which TT replied "of course I am, after all - you are a MAN". I really cracked up when I heard that, it was such a classic line!

I also had a brief encounter with "9-5" lady, she is working as a cash register operator in a local supermarket and supplements her income by doing occasional FL. I must say that she was very good value, very enthusiastic and reciprocal in bed, she was also very keen to continue our brief encounter (maybe she was angling for my sponsorship?) however, I was departing that very day so I left it at that.
