I believe the post was about Pine Arbor, not Gado. Not sure why the two are in one thread here. Pine Arbor was always 70 house, maybe they have come down five bucks...

Went to NYC to meet a friend in on business for drinks and dinner. After a couple of places to imbibe headed over to John's Pizza on 44th for dinner since it was close to his hotel. Since I knew I was heading into NYC wanted to go Red Spa, but time was of the essence since I need to catch the last train to NJ to get home. Walking along 8th Ave, decided to head east on 37th and go to Choi's, but pass on a sign for Pine. Go in and greeted by Bonnie, ask if she was going to be my therapist,but she was busy. Bonnie was cute, brings me to the room start to undress and put the robe on. My therapist comes in, her name is Lisa, and pay the fee. She was probably late 30's, aveage looking with some meat on her bones. Not chunky by any means.Off to the TS, nothing exceptional but she cleaned me up well. Above average massage, ordinary ST and finish. No utc roaming allowed and some Otc on top. Don't think I would repeat. Paid 65/50, then off to Penn Station just catching the last train home.

That makes sense. I was guessing based on the number of doors and the fact that it's just a REALLY long hallway.

On the whole, one of the nicer places I've been to in terms of the facility itself and I've been to a hell of a lot of 'em.

As far as I know, the women typically close between 11 and 12. Seven days a week.

There are only about five massage rooms. The left side of the hall consists of two bathrooms (staff and customer), the shower room and the old locker room area. Mostly two attendants on duty, sometimes three.

There's a lot to be said for simplicity, for things that are exactly what they appear to be, no more and no less. What purpose do these words serve? Why are they here? What purpose does a spa serve? What are you looking for? In objects of simplicity great depth may be found - depth that brings its own rewards.

This spa has been open for over a year with generally positive feedback among the monger universe. I never felt motivated to try it. Why not? It seemed unexceptional. Simple. Lacking anything extraordinary.

Having finally given the place a shot recently, I can now say from personal experience that it is, in fact, unexceptional. Simple. Lacking anything extraordinary. But it's immaculately maintained, the facility is very large and very nicely appointed, and the service is executed in a professional and competent manner. Simplicity. But simplicity that does offer solid, meditative pleasures and rewards.

This is a large spa - not sure how many rooms, but I'll guess around 10 - with a discreet entrance. The rooms are entirely private. The place is impeccably designed and maintained. Spotless from floor to ceiling, nice hardwood floors and textured wood doors. Even the table shower room is way above average, with inlaid granite rather than the usual ceramic tile floor.

My provider was Bebe, a thirtysomething Korean woman with a great little body and a pleasant if unexceptional face. Bebe has a sweet and peaceful manner. She joked around with me at the right moments and was generally nice to be around, with a nice, unrushed pace. Bebe delivered a thorough and credible hard rub. The massage skill is definitely above average though not top of the line.

Post flip, basic service, delivered professionally. Nothing particularly notable, but I left with a smile on my face. Good, solid handjob with the usual KGirl fake enthusiasm. Roaming permitted UTC up top, OTC below. Typical, solid, unexceptional, gets the job done when it needs doing.

Damages: 70 for the hour / 50 tip.

All things considered, the atmosphere here is peaceful and pleasant. The service is basic and solid. This is the sort of place that does one thing with grace and does it well. It embodies the idea that simplicity can produce its own sort of depth and its own rewards.

Overall a good source of current info for R&T/massage services and facilities.

I am on a reviewing binge ..

I am a 'regular' here at Pine Arbor.

Pluses:
- Clean
- Safe (private entrance to street)
- Comfy (nice TS area, rooms with doors)
- great massage
- attractive attendants

This place in near Penn Station / Times Square; and I have never had a bad time. I don't go to massage places to have sex and this place does not offer that. But great TS, great massage. It gets busy and they don't answer the phone when they are.

Overalll - this goes into the RECOMMEND category.

Never been to either, but in going to hiyako multiple times, I always wondered about gado spa. It's not the best presentation with a sheet hanging in the window, but that's not what I'm going there for.

I have been there 2 more times since my initial review, and they have done away with the locker room at the end of the hall. Bonnie was not working both times I was there, so I got Bebe, also very attractive and built very nice. My original assessment that more was availabe besides HE appears to be wrong, as I have not been able to get anything more even after multiple visits. These girls are just put together too nice to not be higher mileage girls...I am pretty sure that Bebe has bolt ons, but that is only from some OTC roaming. Why go to all the trouble of enhancing the goods if you are not going to have it pay off? I even asked if she was going to ever take off the clothes, and the I answer I got was pretty much "never". Anyway, Bebe's massage was also very good, and a very decent HE. It that is all you are looking for, than ask for Bebe or Bonnie, who are both very good at what they do. There is also a third girl who is not nearly as attractive. She was there the other day by herself, so i just left and headed over the new AMP on 34th, Empire Spa, which I will be writing about soon.

I had almost the EXACT experience here last Saturday. I was never shown the locker room. Just shown a room, then to TS, then back for the experience you described - to a "T".

Went to the Pine Arbor Spa on 37th Street yesterday, 2nd floor (aren't they all on the 2nd floor?), seperate entrance inside the building. Paid the $70 up front and was given a key and a locker in a room at the end of the hall. Got undressed and let to the TS room for a little clean up. First off, the place is very, very clean. The TS room and the bathroom were spotless and very inviting. I met Bonnie in the TS room, and my first reaction was that she was built very nicely, and was just ok to look at. She was wearing a black shirt with black pants, and she had her hair up in a bun. She seemed a bit stand-off-ish, so I had my reservations that this was going to be a very good session. However, as I spent a few more minutes with her, I realized that if she were to let her hair down, she actually was very attractive. In fact, I almost asked her to do that, ala Frasier Crane on "Cheers" to Liiith....anyway. On to the massage room, and I am laying on the table for about 5 mins, when in she comes again, and son of a bitch, the hair is down and all teased up, and she looked fantastic, just as I knew she would Of course now, as we all know, I am laying on my stomach, ass in the air, and I can't see her. She proceeded to give an excellent massage...I mean, really good. She was working muscles, climbing on the table, on me.....it was really nice. The sensual build up before the flip was very good also. Alot of ass play, and reaching underneath for some attention to the twig and berries. After the flip, the way she looked into my eyes was a huge turn on. Very seductive. She was very receptive to OTC, but when I tried to slip my hands down the back of her pants, she shifted to stop that from happening. Now, here is the conundrum that we all face when we want a really good massage....and then we want something else. She broke her ass giving me the massage, so now she was pretty sweaty, and a little sticky. This made it hard to slide my hand underneath her shirt for a little UTC roaming on the top side. So, at this point, it seems like we are heading just towards a really good HE, and that's exactly what it was. She had a great finish, a little kiss on the mouth, and then off to get the hot towel. Do I think that more is available? Probably, maybe after another visit or two. Or maybe it is just a R&T place, albeit it a very good one. Either way, I will definately repeat, and most likely with Bonnie. BTW, I tipped her $40 on my way out the door after I went back to the locker room and got dressed.
