You are bein overcharged. The going rate for a non Chinease speaker is about 150 to 300 rmb per day. That is about usd 20 to 35 per day. At the most you should pay 50 dollars per day.

1500 dollars for 10 days of fun is too much.

Sounds like good expereince, but for that kind of money, you can really do much better if you konw the robe.

Maybe it's a bit hard if you don't speak Chinese, but if you've time and know some Chinese friends, try Zhuhai, spend time in those 5 star hotel KTV, pick 1 or 2 modle like chicks who works in Macua night clubs (when they've the permit) and negotiate a deal "long term rate" with them. For gal in Lei's quality, I can get two of the with what you're paying, imagine, just how you enjoyed it last time with twice the fun, if your mate get drunk, you get 3 of them to play with!
