Said it a million times before. Self-righteous sheep want to be told what to do because it makes them feel virtuous to be compliant of the rules imposed on them by their intellectual masters. It also makes them feel morally superior over others who prefer to think independently and question things that don't make sense to them. When the CDC laid out all these guidelines and protocols last year, these idiots willingly complied. Their mantra was to "follow the science". Well that they did... until the science was no longer convenient to them. Now the CDC has loosened up on some of those same guidelines but these intellectually lazy moralists can't let go of these rules and want to continue to live the life they've gotten used to for the past year.

It's funny that you guys are arguing whether vaccines have been approved or not. It was stated before the vaccines were rolled out, that they have been approved. That's why we had to wait for them, because they needed to be approved. I don't understand why you guys are trying to confuse everyone.

You remind me of that guy who stole a vial of vaccine from shoppers and said he was going to conduct his own studies. The only stupid people here are those that think that their grade 10 science education, a Wal-Mart microscope and a Toys R Us chemistry set are comparable to those of the scientists who've dedicated their lives to studying vaccines. Luckily for us, they know what's in it, there have been peer reviewed clinical studies and it's WHO/FDA approved. But since you most likely get your news from social media posts, your apprehension is to be expected.

Actually the vaccine has been approved by the FDA. If it wasn't, they wouldn't be giving it to people.

The vaccines would have been rolled out much earlier if they weren't approved. That's one of the reasons why Canada had to wait a bit longer to distribute them, aside from not having our own production facility for vaccines, Canada has stricter guidelines than the US when it comes to approving new drugs and vaccines.

I'll give you a quick explanation here though, since it might be too much reading for you.

Deaths FROM covid are usually from respiratory failure and pneumonia.

An example of a death WITH covid would be if you had a pre-existing condition that was exacerbated by covid. So in other words, you were probably managing your symptoms fine, but covid made the situation worse and you ended up passing away. Although you didn't die as a result of covid, it's still recorded as a covid death because you would most likely still be alive if you hadn't contracted it.

If you had covid and got hit by a bus, that wouldn't be recorded as a covid death.


Lastly, hospitalizations and ICU capacity are driving lockdown decision making. Both have nothing to do with PCR tests. And of course you choose a tweet from Derek Sloan. The racist conspiracy theorist who was too far right for the CPC, they voted to remove him from the Conservative caucus this yr lol

Since everyone was kept under house arrest, socializing was forbidden, no one could do anything or go anywhere, masks had to be worn, distance had to be maintained, hands needed to be washed and disinfected all the time, etc. etc. etc. flu cases were virtually non-existent this past year.

It will be back however whenever civilization resumes...
