Still in NZ alive and well and freezing my butt off. Its around 10 degrees here after experiencing around 35 degrees somedays only a week ago.
Spent two weeks there and now have to wait another 12 months to do it all again.

After 8 days of playing golf and going out every night was feeling a little burnt out and then on the 9th day a mate frome Italy arrived at the hotel at 8:00pm. I said after that flight you will be wanting to sleep but he was keen to get down to Bangla Rd. So off we go around 9:00pm and we came back at around midnight with a couple of new friends and the next morning I asked how he got on he said he went back up to Bangla with his new friend at around 2:00am and got back at 4:30am. Not a bad effort after a long flight and first night. I asked him if he liked Phuket on day two that he was there and he said he's definitely coming back.

He is 59 and first two nights his two friends were 20 and 21 so on the third night it was pleasing to see that he finally woke up and on the third day finally went for an older woman (she was 25)

Spent some time at Lisa's bar, only bar owner to shout us, not that we expected it but nice to get offered and that was after an hour on first visit to that bar. Had a few in Mai Thai, Scoobys and Enjoy in Soi Eric. Plenty of nights at Crazy Horse and also at Suzy Wongs.

Checked out Karon a couple of nights very quiet over there but guess to be expected this time of the year. My mate got the number of our waitress and she came over the hill to meet us at around 11:00am she said she had brought a friend so I thought here goes a lucky dip but all good, she was the 20 year old 'cashier' (at least while I was in Patong we had something in common.

Always good showing a friend around for his first visit and watching his response throughout the evening.

Well, it happens in most of the bars but, that is why it is very essential for us to make sure which bar you are preferring for fun so that, you will not have to pay for such fakes, it is like if you are getting better options then, you just have to be very careful.
