I am in PA myself - just north of the New Hope, PA region. I wish it was closer as I just looked up your site & the photos of your home as well. It is absolutely lovely!

Hope you don't have any problem with the current weather system traveling through our state. We're looking at the potential for at least minor flooding in the region - though from the river crest predictions it won't directly affect us here.

I have some more pics to post too. I'm just not sure if I should post too many of the house and the grounds? I don't pubish my exact address, I make people contact me for directions, that way I can screen them first before telling them where I live.

The weather here is horrible right now. I was getting water in my basement. It stopped raining for a little while and got very windy. I had just enough time to gather up all of my weed pullings from yesterday, now its pouring again. My horses are upset. They expect me to do something about the weather I guess. My goats hate being wet and of course so do chickens! You've heard the saying "madder than a wet hen!" Well, its true!

Unfortunately the weather situation will get worse overnight in Bucks County - not sure if the same holds true for your region. At least the next few days will be sunny & I'm already breathing a sigh of relief that the predictions for the Delaware River are not going higher (so far). There will still be moderate flooding into lower laying areas - but thus far it doesn't seem like it will close to the 3 floods we went through in the 18 month period from Sept 2004 through June of 2006.
