Honda isn't the only OEM to do this type of thing. Most if not all do. I know there's additional costs for operating a business here in the great white north like our Unemployment policies, healthcare etc but at double the price? that's whacked.
There are all kinds of places that will allow you to ship your purchases to them if the seller requires a US address, then forward it to you.
My question to you would be: why do they have to be genuine honda parts? There's a plethoria of aftermarket dress up parts available and I bet they would have no problem selling and shipping the items cross border. Just make sure you US USPS, UPS et all charge a brokerage fee, USPS doesn't.
For all they know you could be buying parts as a gift for someone in the US.
