the worst bars opposite the Hilton are on the right as you look over from the Hilton. Mostly populated by hottish girls who are total sharks and hunt in packs until your wallet is empty.
The bars on the left closer to the foot bridge are much better, the first 3 have nice enough girls and dont try to rip you off. (Not hot but nice).

(and as OP says, that massage place on the right is terrible. Avoid it. Use the ones up the road on wanghandu lu past the temple. Garish pink 24 hour massage sign. Girls usually quite cute and oil massage gets hand job for about 200

By the way, avoid the massage place opposite the Hilton to the right, it's shite!! No showers, girls aren't up to much, all you get is a hand job and they try and ask for 500rmb on top of the massage!

Just run up your bar tab.... There used to be some bars on Julu Lu (now all closed) where you could get a BJ in the back room...
Be careful also, if you use a credit card, as they tend to add a 0 to the CC bill... I got stung, not looking at it closely before I signed...

Almost certainly just to run your bill up. There will be the occasional one who provides extras after work but she wont leave early with you and by the time they close you will be too pissed to do anything and your bar bill will be more than if you had gone to manhattans and picked up a girl there

Anyone been to the hostess bars across from the Shanghai Hilton, specifically Route66. Are the girls just there to run your bar tab up or are additional after-hour services negotiable?
