How dangerous is TJ during the day?

I guess I still feel the danger of TJ for the areas we are most interested in is overblown. Yes you have to keep your wits about you and have some common street sense, but it's no different in SD, LA or NYC. I get tired of friends telling me not to go "because it's dangerous". I have yet to hear a single f'n gunshot in TJ and have only once felt uneasy about a situation. Hell I even got really stupid on one visit and luckily made it back to tell about it.
As for HK, It's getting too much on the order of a US strip club for me. Far too much hustle anymore. I hate it because my ATF session came a couple years ago from a HK BG just getting off her shift. Spent a very memorable hour and a half with her and her weed for $80. Keep looking for her each time I'm in TJ but no luck.
