I used to tease my coworker about Chiang Mai as he prefer the scenery.

Cambodia on my TDL but not for hobbying. Will wait for infrastructures to be build & locals accustomed to tourist. I still prefer some travel comfort.

Chiang Mai is a great place to live with a Thai gf very cheap there and yes the scenery is nice.

Cambodia is a very poor country but there advancing, it's a beautiful place to go though just a bit of advice though stay on the paths there do not wonder off, there still land mines so be careful.

You never know with Thai girls there masters at playing the game if she's a go go girl, bar girl or massage girl I would not take much of what she says as truth you need a farm fresh girl to really have any kind of relationship with them.

For me it is over 780km from where I live in the states. Good thing is all of my family up there lives in brampton. Gives me a built in excuse to visit, after I discovered the MPs around brampton I come up every summer.
