I have a few questions about introducing budgies?

Okay, so I got my first bird about a month ago, and today we moved him into a bigger cage (the previous one was only large enough for about one, but the current one is large enough for multiple birds), and my parents and I were talking, and we're going to get another budgie soon. We're gonna get another male, from the same pet shop. We're pretty sure that all the budgies there have the same parents as they're all the same age (they don't have very many), which is another reason for not getting a female (we don't want some poor little inbred bird to be born), so, well, to my question, how should I introduce them? They have lived together before and are possibly brothers, but will they recognize each other? I have heard somewhere that budgies are social animals, so two males will be fine together, right?

When you get your new budgie, you'll want to quarantine it for about one month to make sure it isn't sick. You don't want the budgie you already have getting ill.

Two males may or may not be okay in the same cage. I personally prefer keeping mine in separate cages, but giving them some play time together. You'll have to see how the two budgies get along with each other. Most budgies will have a squabble now and then, but it shouldn't get violent. There shouldn't be any feather plucking, blood drawn, or any injuries. If you notice any aggression between the two, place them in separate cages before any injuries occur.

Your budgies may or may not recognize each other. Since it's been about a month, it's more likely they won't recognize each other.

Once the quarantine time period has passed, then you start introducing them to one another. I'd start putting the two cages next to each other as soon as the quarantine time is up. They can also play outside of the cage together at that time. See how they respond to one another. Give them some time for that adjustment (a few days to one week), then you can place them in the same cage if they seem compatible.
