Hey thanks for the replies.  Jen, I think she really had no idea what she was saying when she told me that.  Well, like you said, I hope she didn't anyway.  I don't think she meant it to be the way she sounded....although I've had a pretty good laugh about it.  Who the heck would ever say that to someone who was so generous in their offer to use their office!  I dunno.   :Anyway, I had talked with her a lot about helping her get some business.  I have some really great ideas of simple things to get started but instead of doing that, she looked for work somewhere else.  Oh well, what are ya going to do??  The situation is better for her anyway...which will be better for me as well.  I figure I'll either charge her WAY more to use my office when she wants but I'll have access to that room for other therapists and classes....or I'll have someone else move in who is willing to pay half the rent AND do what it takes to make themselves busy.  I certainly will be sure that they have a certain amount of clientele already so they'll be no real concerns on my part.  No sure yet which route I'm going to go.Funny thing is, since she left me the message that she got a job, I haven't heard from her.  Kinda strange.   ???

What kind of really great ideas of simple things did you suggest to her?Just reread my post and am now modifying it. I'm curious, not looking to attack. Wondering if she is people-shy. Is she lacking in creativity? Maybe what is simple to you is not to her. I have had to overcome some things to better promote my business. I'm still learning and growing.
