I never said they don't advertise, but with a decent clientele base, they can be more selective and when they need a bump in their business, throw up an ad.

Being in sales all my life, I fully understand the cycle of client retention. Generally 30% of your clientele tend to revolve over the years. Some die, some move away and some move to competitors. It is imperative to have a plan to maintain your customer base so your business can stay strong.

As Mandy continues on her own, hopefully she embraces a solid business model to stay profitable as
long as she wishes to keep operating.

Very wrong on the need to advertise. She may find the need to advertise down the road. The lack of quality ladies in Edmonton has moved her up the ladder in a short time like it or not.

Yes her massage skills she uses are mediocre but she is smart to have her soft style. As stated before massage is the hard road. Viv suffers tendonitis and aches and pains from her style. She changed it up through her career. The easier method is please, tease, and leave. It’s these ladies choice of a business model and it makes financial sense.

Well said, I am thinking of Sunny who may have advertised once or twice last 12 months. If you have a steady client base, you only need to advertise once in a while to top it up as regulars do disappear periodically.

I lived through the phases of V when she went from FS to limited extras back to FS. Providing deep-tissue massage is hard”ER” on your body than providing FS. I fully understood why V went through her phases and also benefited tremendously from her returning to providing FS even if it meant I lost my deep tissue massage provider. I think most of us realize that V does not provide deep tissue and FS in the same appointment; also why some of us started to book multi-hours evening appointments... those were the good old “nights”.

If Mandy is smart, she would stay low key, pick and choose the generous clients, and possibly have a much longer career than most while making the same amount as she would working 8 hours a day at a spa.

The whole thing sounds like a BS. There is only one person here who “has seen her”! For crying out loud, check out the Kijiji - even Sunny puts the ads there! If Mandy is still around - she would have been posting the ads on Kijiji or LL. No business can go without the advertising, even the famous Miss Vivian had the ads running all the time. Mandy is good, but not as good as V. Mandy’s massage skills are very mediocre compared to Vivian, she doesn’t do any deep tissue, only very light pressure massage.
We are chasing a tooth fairy here guys...

Kinda rude, but yes I saw the ad’s too.
Xmas season is tough on all providers as our wallets get tighter. I’ve heard from many of the fine ladies out there that during Xmas it’s usually feast or famine, but the last few years with so many out of work, it’s more famine.
I’m sure she’s just drumming up new business for the new year, but hey, any faithful Sunny clientele out there that haven’t seen her in a while or since her move might wanna give themselves an early Xmas present and go see her.

Drumming up old clientele business as well. These ladies have a big grey book of information on contacts that the never lose. Quite often a post is a reminder to past clients that they’re still in business. Not necessarily looking to risk seeing a new client but someone with a star beside his number from a previous visit.

back to Mandy, I have seen her quite a few times in her private location in the deep south. I think she is pretty choosy in who to see.....just like the original sunny. She is very busy right now. For the bros who have no success to get hold of Mandy for now, you need to be patient until the queue is shorter. I also want to say that the original Sunny and Ms V are certainly a league on their own, but I am not sold on Angela - Ms. V's associate. I like Mandy's exotic touch and it is good to rotate between Sunny and Mandy, and have Winnie (#1 Spa in Chinatown) in the mix once in a while.

No need to pm me for Mandy's phone #. I respect that she wants to keep a low profile for now.

Well said . They are someone’s daughter. Someone’s baby girl. I have long term friendships that are strong even years After I stopped being a client. I’m still in contact with. Lady I knew in Toronto and one in Vancouver. A few in Edmonton. They are people and they sometimes get attached to us too.

I will add Angela to this list. Angela had worked with Miss V in Edmonton, then in Calgary. Now, she too has moved to the west coast but visits Calgary for a week or two about every 2 months. She is elegant, slim/shapely, and massage time together is exquisite. Mature woman who puts the young ones to shame.
