I need a backgrounder

Okay, I'm relatively new to the board... I actually joined a few months ago but have not been able to get much benefit out of it.

The problem is that most of you guys who post are obviously old-timers who know all the usual places in Calgary. But when you post about this place or that, a newcomer like me has no idea what you are talking about. Most importantly, I have no idea WHERE these places are. Until I know the basics like where these places are located, what there hours are, etc., reading a review about some girl working some place is of no use at all to me.

Would it be possible to get a basic list of the 2 or 3 top joints in the city and what the going rate is? Without this info, I'm afraid the board will continue to be a big mystery to me.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Well let me put it this way. I joined not to long ago and all you really have to do is make a phone call or visit a site that is posted in the advertisements. But to tell you the truth if I was a lady posting on here I would ask for references because it seems like the smart thing to do for a bit. Not that I am saying anything but your post seems a tad on the odd side. Its not that difficult to figure this out even for a newb like me.
