Now that all the Leafs injuries have healed, aside from Johnsson, they should have a better chance of beating out the Panthers for the last playoff spot.

If the Leafs pull off a miracle and end a long cup drought, if and when the season resumes, will there big a bigger celebration than what the Raptors had last year?

Bettman said he is planing to have a bigger playoff bracket. Maybe something like the NCAA march madness bracket. You win you move on, You lose, you get to spend the rest of the off season on the golf course.

It is good that Anderson got to rest a bit since the Leafs have no faith in their backup.

What? You didn't hear they traded for a new backup in Jack Campbell? He's only a backup, but he's going to make a big difference, and he's going to give confidence to the team. He already has. There's even talk that he'll replace Anderson, after he becomes a UFA after next season. I doubt it if he becomes a number one though.

For sure Jack Campbell is better than the backup we have at the beginning of the season. His record with the Leafs is so so. Anderson is getting old which is quit concerning. If the Leafs does't sign Anderson, they have a bit of salary cap room to work with.

if we can get Dustin cheap sure. Marlies is a minor league. Able to excel in minor league does not translate to success in major league. Just ask Nail Yarkoprove (Sorry I can't spell his last name). He was the Oiler's #1 draft pick and he failed to deliver in NHL.

From what I heard, Jari Kurri let Mikko Lehtonen out of the last year of his contract in Finland to pursue a Stanley Cup.
