Yes, I know. That's where the confusion is. But most times when guys are talking about holistic vs. semi-legit, they mean those loose definitions I mentioned earlier (not always though) as opposed to referring to the actual licensing stuff.

The primary rationale of distinction is that a ＂semi legit＂ place may issue RMT reciepts， for the most part ， attendants do not wear sexy outfits。 A ＂holistic＂ place there is no amiguity on what services are offered， it appears to be a ＂rub－joint＂ （excuse the dated vernacular） from the onset。 women from both places will carry a holistic practioner license but one works in a more ＂legit＂ setting。 hemce references to mileage although you can get a great massage from a holistic place or good sex at a ＂semi legit＂

Regulars that treat me well are treated better than someone I'm meeting for the first time.

I treat all clients with respect, walk in or not.

If that is not returned, I start putting walls up and make it clear that to come back and see me again would be a waste of their time and money - not with outright bad behavior, but by not making an active effort to give them a good session. I will do everything that is expected, but I will not lie about enjoying it, and will be very stoic in my speech and body language. Think grey rock.

You've mentioned on a few occasions you try to avoid socializing with your co-workers, and in your excellent answers about how would advise a friend entering the business you also said you would caution her about revealing personal information to co-workers.

The dangers of sharing private details with your clients seem fairly self evident, but less so with your co-workers whom one might expect you would want to commiserate with and speak fairly freely to since these are really the only people who truly understand the pressures and demands of the profession.

In my experience most girls in the business typically have a number of other fellow MPAs they are close to and very intimate with. You seem to be quite uniquely different in that regard and it sounds like you've made a concerted effort to keep a very solid distance between yourself and your fellow staff members...

I'm curious about your reasons for feeling guarded with your fellow travellers in the business:

- What do you feel are some of the worst things that could happen, on a hypothetical basis?

- What are some of the worst things that you've heard have happened to others by revealing too much about themselves to their co-workers?

- If you are free to discuss, what are some of the worst things that happened to you in that regard? If your good friend asked you why she should worry about sharing too much with co-workers, what would you tell her?

Thanks again for being so frank and honest with us. This thread has been really compelling and edifying.

Thank-you for your time - I have observed a few things:

1) even big sleeze can be somewhat polite
2) for the most part even the idiots that exist on the board can be somewhat civilized ... somewhat
3) provides great insight to the MPA thought process - gents, keep well groomed, be nice, be polite and any perceived issues with race/pecker dimensions can be overcome
4) insight to some about how not everyone in the industry is a cracked out bimbo. I have had the opportunity to have sessions with airheads, and always preferred ladies that had something other than air between their ears. These are the type of ladies that usually you can make some kind of temporary connection with (within the reality that this is just a service). If reviewing, we should be also commenting on their personality, not just if their boobs are fake and if they have tattoos.

The majority of sex workers have a mental illness of some sort - bipolar II being the most common. If you have ever met a SW who is really into anything sexual at any moment - they are probably in the throes of a manic episode (episodes can last from days to months). Addiction is also common. Both groups tend to have issues with impulse control and lack proper judgement - not the kind of person I would trust with my secrets.

My main concern would be being outed in any form, my secondary concern would be robbery.

Edit: I have met a handful of girls who I would consider spending time with outside of work, however, they have shown themselves to be flakey, for which I have neither time nor patience. I am a very self contained individual and have enough things on my TDL and interests to keep me busy for the next 100 lifetimes - I am fine being largely alone if the alternative is people who do not respect my time.

I do not want to hurt, use or exploit anyone. Is it possible to be a hobbyist and not do so? If I have just met someone it is highly unlikely for me to know what is going on with that person. I just give them the same respect that I give anyone else (my default mode with everyone is respect and politeness).

It is not your responsibility to manage someone's else's issues - it's theirs. Most don't even realize that they are not normal - many SWs grew up with those behaviors or worse. You can't help those who won't help themselves.

That being said, if something seems off, just don't partake. Don't engage in acts of dehumanization/defeminization. Watch eyes and general body language. There are a few YouTube channels I really like for NLP - Observe being one of them. "Neurolinguistic Programming For Dummies" is a good book.

Edit: One upside of lockdowns is that it has created a good opportunity for a dopamine detox. You may not like what you realize when you come out on the other side, but you'll definitely be better off for it.
